Vinanye almost frowned when Logan said he had to be going. He had not know Logan, not even at a distance, very far, but Vin was still sad to see the Unicorn boy leave. When Vin noticed Logan eyeing the treats, he flashed a toothy smile. "I can make you some if you would like? And of course, I will stay here to see your music! Maybe we can meet after you are done with your business?"

Truth be told, Logan fit the title of King of the School better. Him and Clarence, really. Dorian was involved with a lot of things, but his heart was already set in business. And... Hold up. Logan was leaving!? Oh no. Dorian looked at him with sad puppy eyes and sighed. "Alright, bunny... Knock 'em dead. I'll be here rooting for you."
He sighed, moving closer to Vin. "You two should totally meet. I'm sure he'll grow to like you in no time." He smiled. "So, having fun running in the Council?"

Vinnie watched Logan depart before turning his attention back to Dorian. He was all right with the physical closeness, used to it, really, people liked being close to him, generally speaking. "Ooh, the council running is very tiring, but I like it. I like talking to all these people, and I like that I might be able to help things. It is helping me to understand this culture much better! It is very fast-paced here."

Dorian nodded. "It is, isn't it? Do you think you'll be doing this sort of thing next year, or are you a try it once kind of guy?"
Either way, he smiled softly. "It's good running against you. You're an active one, aren't you? I can hardly keep up. And, hey —" Dorian scooped some strawberry parfait up with a spoon and offered it to Vin with a smile, "— have you tried this yet?"

Vin hummed loudly, thoughtfully. "I must wait until elections are over to make a final decision, but I do not believe I will do this human craziness again. But I will join your Alliance and help in that way." He nodded.
When offered the strawberry parfait, Vin leaned forward without a second thought and ate the bite offered. He considered the food like he was a critic, then gave his approving nod. "Much better than the lobster." He made a face, obviously not a fan of the latter.

Sage nodded at Dorian's words, contemplating as he sipped his drink again. "Is that so. I'll definitely look into the club then. You can expect my assistance whether or not I join." He smiled warmely - he'd been doing a lot of that since he started his campaign, and it would have gotten tiring if he'd been anyone else - and fell silent upon the arrival of a new face. Vinnie, was it? He was also running for student council. Sage introduced himself to Vinnie, listened as he and Dorian spoke for a few minutes, then offered a wave and a call of, "Good luck!" as Logan left. However, as the subject rolled a bit back on to food, Sage found a place to comment.
He nodded towards the strawberry parfait. "What is that? And lobster? I swear, I've never even been in the same building as half of these foods before," he said, and it was true. Sage grew up poor. That was something that most knew at his old school, if his home-modified thrift shop clothing was anything to go bye, but it was still largely unknown on this island. Still, even those who knew didn't really know. He'd had a house, food, clothing, school supplies, and Sage knew he was fortunate for all that. Still, many low-income families still got a chance to feel fancy every now and again. Not him. His most prestigious restaurant had always been the local seafood joint, and the closest he'd ever come to delicacies were at club banquets — and even then, poor kid in an average town, it wasn't much to look at. This fine dining was new, mysterious and exciting, and Sage didn't even care that he couldn't pronounce the names on half of those fancy little cards.
Aside from this, Sage looked over Vinnie curiously, considering what he saw and smelled from the tin, how his counterpart was treating the subject of human culture. He wondered if he should ask, but being new himself to the idea of nonhuman creatures, Sage couldn't help it. "So... Vinnie, is it? Please don't take this the wrong way, but I'm really curious, what with the island and all. Are you not human? Oh gosh, I can't believe I actually asked!" A light blush colored Sage's cheeks from the embarrassment of asking such a question, and he hoped it wouldn't be taken rudely. Was this even an acceptable thing to ask here?
Oh, it was probably a good thing he wasn't running for president.

Dorian laughed. He couldn't imagine how odd elections must seem like to non-humans. All this craziness, for arbitrary positions of power. Personally, he wanted to go take a nap. "Human craziness is right! It's too much to do in one week, I'll give you that." He tilted his head. "Aw... but I liked the lobster. All of it's good, honestly. I just listed down all the stuff that popped in my head when I ate out. You should check out the desserts, Vin. They're great."
He smiled and slid the parfait to Sage. "Have a taste. It's really good. I know most people here grew up impoverished or middle class, so this spread's a whole new thing for them. New experiences! That's what I want to emphasize in my campaign." He laughed at the sudden question. "It's not impolite to ask. Vinnie's a fae."

"Are they all like this? Done in a short amount of time with all of..." Vinanye motioned to their surroundings, "this?" When Dorian said he liked the lobster, Vinanye laughed, a light bell-like sound. "It is very fishy! I am a fan of the sweet, so I will try the desserts, all of them!"
Vinnie shook his head at Sage then, offering him a softer look. "Not impolite at all! I am a Fae from Under the Hill. Do I appear human to you?" Vinanye imagined he looked human to most people who came from the mundane world.

Dorian smiled and shook his head. "Usually, in more formal elections, it takes several months to campaign. SA's just pretty intense about elections, it seems." When Vinanye mentioned he wanted to try them all out, Dorian beckoned a caterer to come close. He told Vin's interest to him. He soon came back with a platter of small portions of all the desserts available. He slid it to Vinnie.
Dorian reminded Vinnie of his mother or the other powerful Fae among his court. Kinder, undoubtedly, but important nonetheless. It was the kind of influence that could snap its fingers, and things would happen. That was a literal thing when Vin was brought a platter of desserts.
It was enough to have Vin blushing as he sampled a few of the sweets, commenting to Dorian which was the tastiest. Vin would offer the last bite of the best desserts to Dorian.
