Estrella was bored. She had not been invited to parties. She had no classes to attend. And Gabii wanted to go to the student lounge, of all places. Boring. As the kind sister she was, she decided to tag along to try to rescue Gabii from whatever studious demon lurked inside her. So far, her plan was failing almost pathetically. "Come on, Stella, there's computers and I need to learn this to advance in class," the quieter of the sisters encouraged. "Fine, I'll try to find an INTERESTING friend." Perhaps it would've been easier if the room wasn't so empty (where was everyone?)

Well, it wasn't empty for very long.

Preston had only been at the school about a week, and nobody had really approached him. C'mon Preston, step up your game he thought, irritated with himself for not having any friends yet. At his old junior high, he was really popular, had tons of friends, all that. Moving to a different school, let alone moving up to high school, was sucking. He spotted two girls across the room, looking similar. " Must be twins, he thought".

It wasn't empty anymore. A redhead boy whom caught Stella's attention by being the only other member of the room. "Hello!" she waved, smiling the charismatic grin that made her look approachable. Who wouldn't want to hang out with her, after all? At this moment, Gabii. Stella walked over to him. "Are you new?" she asked, finding him unfamiliar despite looking her age. Surely she'd know him, after all, even if they hadn't had a conversation. It was upsetting. She was really letting herself down. Gabii sighed. She didn't see what the big deal was. Turning back to do her homework, but blushing a deep red, feeling uncomfortable. It wasn't even like there was a crowd. Just the three of them. Lonely. And Gabii felt like the twins looked idiotic.

"Oh uh, hi!" Preston said, a bit taken aback by the girls approach. He noticed the two girls were wearing the same clothes, but decided not to comment on it. " Uh, yea, I'm new." He smiled, taking his hood off, revealing his side swept hair. " I'm Preston. What are your names?" He inquired, cocking his head to the left. He took out his phone to check the time; almost time for class.

OOC: Sorry, I know I have really choppy writing, but I'm working on it.

"Stella," she didn't hesitate to give a nickname. Estrella was more of a mouthful. "And, this is Gabii." Gabii, who decided to sit quietly and try to access his head. Let's see what he really thought of her and her sister. Because that definitely couldn't shatter what little confidence she had in herself. "You like it here? I do, so many parties." Stella sighed. There was probably one happening now and she wasn't there, she thought bitterly. Gabii didn't like the thoughts of her seemingly selfish sister. She never had to tag along anyways.

Wow he thought, what a mouthful she she is. Complete opposites with the other chick. "Parties, eh?" He asked, being more rhetorical than actually expecting an answer. " Say, do you get invited to many parties Stella? And uhm.. Gabii?" I have never felt more socially awkward. In a big open room with two girls I've just met. He thought, shaking it off and chuckling to himself.

Stella agreed, "Of course." She thought that was quite an obvious answer. "You make friends at parties." Gabii nodded, "Not like this, it's very... socially awkward in a big open room." She used his own thoughts in her words. "Excuse me," she made her way back to her seat and studied again. She didn't need to, she just thought she did. Stella turned her head to face her sister, "It's not that awkward." She faced Preston again, "Do you like parties?"

He shrugged. " Not if there's drugs and alchohol and crap like that." He shook his head. " Kinda sad aint it?" He asked. Tossing his hair, he nosily asked, "So are you popular around here?" Preston asked Stella while messing with his hair. "But to answer the question; yes, I like parties." He repilied, realizing he hadn't answered the question. He smiled, awaiting her quirky response.

"Not drugs, or alcohol. But next year, I'll start drinking lightly with some of my friends. You don't need them to have fun." Stella replied. By her next birthday, she'd be of legal drinking age back in her home country of Britain. "Not in the Mean Girls sense. I try to make friends with everyone." She watched him mess with his hair, she just watched. Gabii turned around at the conversation. "Not everyone wants to be friends," she pointed out, twirling her own hair round her fingers, thinking that she should leave the room before she embarrassed herself in front of an attractive person.

Preston thought he caught Gabii blush from the corner of his eye. she's shy anyways. He thought. " Hey are you from Britain?" He asked, just now noticing their accent compared to his own Irish accent. He stopped twirling his hair and waited for the outgoing girl Stella to reply to his question. However, he just looked at Gabii twirling her own hair.
