Cody was excited, after going through all the classes, and getting approved he was finally able to adopt a kid. Though they had told him that this was trial run, just in case the kid in question needed to placed with someone more better suited to deal with his powers. Cody hadn't really stopped to ask what the boy's powers were. No he was just excited to be able to foster a kid. He did know that the boy would probably not immediately open up to him, Cody was prepared for that. He was prepared for the fact that he might immediately get along with his hopefully soon to be son.

Still he cleaned out the second biggest room, it housed a Twin bed, a desk with a laptop, two dressers with a mirror, a bathroom, and a moderate sized closet with hangers. Hopeful the boy would be able to make himself feel at home. His name was Rowan Taylor, and he hadn't actually gotten to the power part of the profile. He figured he would wait for Rowan to tell him, it was after all not always something people were proud of.

The doorbell rang and Cody walked quickly to the other end of the house to open it smiling softly. "Hello, You must be Rowan." He said offering the boy warm smile.

It was rather warm outside as he made his way to his accommodation. He would be staying with some guy named Cody, as he didn't want to stay in the confines of the dorms at the school, but was a bit young to be living by himself out in the city by himself, so he had to compromise, and his compromise was living with someone else.

Despite the warmer weather, Rowan was wearing his hoodie half zipped so that the head of the silver dragon on his black shirt underneath could be seen, and he had the hood up but far enough back that his eyes could be seen.

He wasn't too happy about living with someone else but it beat being crowded by other students and constantly having to deal with his classmates in the dormitories as well as the classrooms. Rowan hesitated at the door when he arrived, being reluctant at first, and when he knock, it opened rather quickly. "And you must be Cody." Was the simple reply from the boy.

Cody nodded and moved so that Rowan could enter the house, when he did he closed the door behind him smiling. "Yes, and please make yourself at home. The fridge is fully stocked but if there something you want that's not there, just put it on the list that's hanging on the freezer door and ill get it when I go shopping, or you could come along" he said moving around the house. The house was a pretty big family home and he wanted to make sure that Rowan knew where everything is.

"So the kitchen is over there, the living room is down the hall to your right, the dinning room is the next room from that. It's not mandatory to eat there, unless we're having company which rarely happens due to how busy my family is." He walked Rowan though the main areas of the house leaving room for questions and anything he might want to say.

"This is your room, I figured you wouldn't want a room directly close to mine, so it has it's own bathroom. If you need a bigger bed than we can get that later. There's a laptop, the wifi code is written down, and yeah...Are you hungry?"

Rowan followed Cody through the house, taking everything in. Having no questions, they finally got to his room. "The bed is fine." Rowan placed his backpack and suitcase on his bed and began to unpack his things. He started with his suitcase, which held mostly varying black and grey shirts with a range of band names and designs to video game quotes and shirts, black and grey sneakers and shorts. He had several books and handheld video game consoles with games to boot. His backpack had his school stuff and his own laptop in it. "I have my own laptop, but the thought is appreciated." Rowan nodded thanks as he continued to set up his things.

Once done, he turned to Cody at the final question. "Yeah. You cooking or ordering takeout?" He questioned curiously. "Oh and what are the house rules?" Well at least he was polite enough to least inquire about rules and such.
