Cody was excited it had been a few months since Rowen had started out a bit rough but he liked to think that he was make progress with the teenager. Cody himself learned that especially with supernatural kids he had to patient and wait for them to open up to him. He had cleaned out a room that was the same size as Rowen’s and put a desk, a computer, a dresser and a twin size bed. It was the same setup he had left in Rowen's room. It was just his sense of fairness even though he was sure they were different ages he had to be fair.

Instead of waiting by the door he had decided to start dinner, it would do well to distract him from the pending arrival of the newest addition to his family. He knew that it would be a rough start, especially after reading the boy’s file. He wasn’t going to bring it up due to the fact that he was pretty sure the boy would talk about it when he was ready...if he was ever ready. The paperwork the orphanage had give him was locked in his desk drawer. He didn’t want Tony to accidentally come across it...at least Cody would find it rude if he was put in Tony’s position.

He was preparing hamburgers for the grill, since it was getting nice out he figured he could use the deck he recently had built. Especially since he had pool and no one really used it...on the account of him not wanting people to realize he was a mermaid...basically. The knock on the door startled him from all his planning and thoughts that were steadily stirring towards things he didn’t want to think of.

"COMING!!” He yelled from the kitchen washing his hands and tossing the towel over his shoulders as he dried his hands. Walking over to the door her opened it so his guest could walk in. He was trying to contain himself, he was trying not to squeal and jump with joy because he was sure it would make things awkward and tense.

Tony stood in front of a house. It's supposed to be his new home. The house slightly reminded him of his old estate. The Knight estate was great. Tony missed it. Partly because it was back when he still had a family but also because it was a fun place. He missed the study/library the most. Tony frowned and looked at the suitcase in his hands. It was mostly full of notebooks and books but he did have necessities in there too. There was a photo album in there too but he kept that more hidden. It was the only thing Tony managed to save from the fire. Tony sighed softly. He knocked on the door and waited. "COMING!!” someone yelled from inside.

Tony quickly forced a smiled on and waved at the man that opened the door. Tony started to write on his notepad. "I'm Tony Knight, Are you Cody Chord?" Tony wrote and handed the notepad to the man.

Cody had moved quickly to the door and opened it. He saw Tony standing there and frowned, it was only one suit case. In his opinion it wasn't nearly enough to hold an entire wardrobe. He made a mental note to take the boy shopping for clothes. He supposed they couldn't fully replace everything he lost but at the very least more clothes.

Cody gently took the notebook and nodded "Yes I'm Cody, its nice to meet you Tony. Let's get you settled in" He said putting a kind smile on his face. He opened the door wider for the boy to walk in. He contemplated helping the Tony with his suitcase but he didn't want to smother him to soon. He quickly lead Tony to his bedroom, unfortunately Rowen had gotten the only other room with a bathroom but the bathroom was pretty close.

"So, you do have your own room, the bathrooms across the hall, you don't have to worry about sharing it with anyone." He explained standing by the door not wanting to enter the room unless invited. Cody was very big on privacy, mostly because he did have eleven other siblings he grew up with.

"Just make a list of the things you need, we'll go out sometime this week to get them." Cody realized the boy didn't talk, so he tried not to bog him down with so much to answer to, since he was writing.
