Fighting Cause They Love

Though they had a good time at the ball she was furious with Aedan. He should be resting, he shouldn't be strainging himself. Tesa knew now for a fact that she loved him with all her heart and she didn't want to loose him to his own selflessness. When he mentioned Abe she didn't say anything, she felt if she spoke now all of her frustrations with him would poor out of here now instead of in private where they belonged.

When the door opened and a floating robot was there holding out a pack of cigerates there was a spark of anger that could be seen in her eyes, Was Aedan smoking now? How bad was it? It wasn't illegal but it was a slower death then his more recent events that had happened to him. She could be heard slowly gringing her perfect teeth together as she pulled Aedan inside with her goddess gifted strength.

Once inside her eye flicked around the room taking in the details of the room. She saw something then that made a part of her want to scream. She saw whiskey bottles in the room. All empty, just sitting there out in the open where anyone else could see. The smoking and drinking, both while he's underage. So with her now anger enchanced strength she lifted her boyfriend up, still making sure not to hurt him in the process, and placed him down on the couch.

She proceeded to go over to Abe and yanked out the cigerates from its grip before walking with heavy feet over to the whiskey bottles and picked one up before standing in front of Aedan looking down at him. Her eyes alight with the Anger of a Goddess. She threw each of the tems in her hands onto his lap and in a ice cold voice that could freeze the hearts of mortal men. "Care. To. Explain?"

She stood there her eyes still alight with rage and anger even as he told her his troubles. He had told her about his past after their outing into the woods with Thane. She still thought of that time fondly but right now wasn't the time to reminice. There were a few things she had to say before she felt like she could calm down. "Aedan, You remember what I'm going to school for? I hope so but to remind you I'm going to school for LAW and PSYCHOLOGY! You could have asked ME at anytime to help you up to this point."

She turned around and waved her hand at the area where there were more empty whiskey bottles before continuing as her voice chilled further as she spoke. "You are 16 Aedan! You shouldn't even be able to GET these items. It's ILLEGAL for Hades' sake. You work with the POLICE and they don't even know that you go to sleep drunk at your age!"

Tesa turned around to look at Aedan still furious. "I know you are stubborn, I can see that you're being idiotic. But if you were going to get better ON YOUR OWN you would have gotten better a long time ago..."

Her stomach was turning now. Teas did NOT like getting angry, she did not like being reminded that she was related to her mother and this anger was not helping. "I won't allow you to keep digging yourself deeper into a hole that will only lead to your death Aedan. I love you to much for that.... I'm moving in, whether you want me to or not. If you don't want me to then I won't be able to see you any more. I can't watch from the sideline and see you sink deeper into someplace I can pull you out of."

It was all true and she knew it. Tesa could not and would not sit here from a distance and see the person she loved die some way she could prevent. "Aedan...let me help you."

"Aedan..." Tesa's voice wasn't hell frozen over any more as it was gaining some heat as her anger cooled...ironically. "...You don't have to tell me that, by the gods hun. Honestly." Tesa moved over so she could sit down next to Aedan and she gave him a kiss on his cheek. "I can help with everything but you have to TELL me what is wrong when it's wrong. NOT having me get told by a hospital or a call from your work."

"Now, is there ANYTHING ELSE you wish to tell me that you want to tell me while I'm starting to accept that you are going to avoid these in the future?" She raised her eyebrow at her love wondering just what else he might be hiding from her. It was beginning to be more stressful then she thought it would be to have someone she loved but she felt like she needed to stick with him otherwise her mother would be right...and Tesa refused to have her mother be right about anything.

After looking through the articles of events and everything she couldn't help but pinch the bridge of her nose and sigh. "Aedan, you are such a selfless person. But you seem determined to work yourself into an early grave because you could care less about yourself and care more for everyone around you. It's an admirable trait if you can control it but...Aedan, love. You need to stop trying to get yourself killed!"

Tesa moved over and sad down next to Aedan putting her arm around his shoulder and pulling him close. "I want you to live a long and full life Aedan, and hopefully you want to as well. I can't stop you from doing things but I can help you from going to far. I want you to tell me that you are going to stop drinking, smoking, and going out at night and nearly getting yourself killed. Okay? If you love me, then you need to live okay? I may only get so much time with you but I want as much time as I can get. Okay?"

"I want you to live a FULL life Aedan, I'm not trying to restrict you in any way that I don't think you could live without. By the Gods I'll let you drink with me but you need to be old enough to do so leagally Aedan. I'm would not ask this if you were already old enough. But I know for a fact that smoking leads to short lives." Tesa shook her head as he tried to explain about him being the Orphanmaker and she leaned forward and put her now empty hands on his cheeks so he had to look her in the eyes.

"Aedan, I love YOU. Every flaw and amount of ego and moment you live. But you need to understand the people change. You are no longer the Orphanmaker. Knight Shade you made because of your guilt but that same guilt is killing you, both in the physical and mental aspects of what makes you YOU." She moved forward then and planted a kiss on his lips.

"Don't look at your past Aedan, the point of a life is to strive for the future. Everyone has something they regret or don't like about themselves. From the poorest man to the richest, from the most beautiful to those society calls ugly. You need to know that those regrets and doubts shouldn't way you down. You just need to walk with your head held high and know that you have learned from that mistake."
