RE: [Fight Club] Rules (Pop)

Earlier Tao had nodded at Ardos in understanding, they would definitely need to talk things over. He stood at the exit and observed the few remaining fights and observers waiting for his bookies to leave, giving him his and Ardis cut. 20% of the winnings right in his hand where half would go to Ardos, usually the enforcers would share the cut but today Ardos worked alone so he earned the whole 10% cut.

When all fights where finished and only a handful of stragglers remaining he walked up to Ardos "What does your schedule allow? How much can you work?" he would ask straight out "You get a time based cut from the moment you enter til you leave, this is based whatever winnings are made though you share the cut with the other enforcer if you work on the same day, it is still plenty."

"We open after dark and closes before sunrise" this meant that the hours shifted based on the day of the year "I will ask again, how much does your schedule allow you to work" his words was made to taunt Ardos into choosing more hours, by saying that something decides over another mans freedom one tend to want more freedom, even if said freedom was more work in disguise.

Ardos took the huge wad of money and —

Holy shitballs, this was a huge wad of money. And this was just for him? Ardos' eyes were wide as his bloodstained fingers felt the thick girth of the cash. Shit, it was thicker than a phone book, and they were all huge bills. Like, he was pretty sure he had never even held or seen this much money before.

He looked at Tao with a grin and put the money in his cargo pants. "Nice. Consider me invested."

Ardos heard the taunting and he snorted. He knew this game. He didn't have to entice him to work harder because Ardos already liked working hard, as boring as that sounded.

This place paid a lot better than The Cross Fox, but Ardos felt like he needed to keep working there for his sanity's sake. He liked the stable hours, the good company, the free after hours drinks and, not gonna lie, the bombing male strippers. "I'm at the Fox down the road on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. I'll be here Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, mostly likely from evening until three. I still need to sleep for school. Sound good?"

"Well that is just fine." Tao didn't push the subject anymore, he was happy about having an enforcer for a few more days of the week. He totally understood the concept of a student enforcer needing time to sleep for school, he however usually used his office to sleep when there where enforcers working, though just power naps now and then as he still needed to go the rounds now and then.
