@"Poptart" (I think i summoned you propertly, I hope.)

He dragged out a competitor with one hand holding the competitors leg and another holding a bat, after every next words he would hit the man with the bat "What. Is. My. First. Rule?" It was simple really, or it was meant to "Respect the fighting ground, that means no weapon in hand to hand fight". He threw away the competitor to lie further away from the club, still breathing "Consider this a warning. Why cant things ever be simple" he walked away hoping that the competitor would have enough sense to know the rules the next time he would go to the Fight Club because there wouldn't be a second warning.

He really didn't like it when his only Enforcer was of duty, it meant he needed to take care of the dirty work, he was really just a nice guy who enjoyed simple fights to be at his best. Before he walked back to the building he called his second home he would hit the bat into the ground, the asphalt to force of most of the blood it had on it though he couldn't quite tell in the dark if it had any or not. "Sigh, i need another enforcer." he whispered to himself, resting the bat on his shoulder as he walked back.

[ Ardos Ta'driz ]

Ardos was out looking for a second job.

He went from establishment to establishment, looking for something that would make good use of his talents. It was pretty hard searching for something decent while looking the way he did. He tried to apply as a McDonald's security guard but they turned him down on the grounds of his appearance being "intimidating to children." Psh. It was bull. Shouldn't they want a guard that could cow children into discipline?

Ms. Sake at The Cross Fox saw his talent well enough and accepted him and he was mighty thankful of that. She was a shrewd businesswoman and an all-around sweetheart.

But the rent was pretty steep and he didn't want his sister studying while working just so they could get a room that wasn't surrounded by people. His Matron actually liked school. He wanted her to focus on that and leave the hard work to him because, really, hard work and fighting were the only things he was good at. He wasn't the school "type."

While walking back from The Cross Fox, he spotted a guy beating up some dude out of his... club? Establishment? Ardos threw his cigarette — almost done, anyway — and walked over to the guy.

Little did he know he was about to answer his prayers.

"Yo," he said, nodding in recognition. "You need help bouncing in... whatever your place is?"

RE: [Fight Club] Rules (Pop)

He dropped the gangster style as he turned around "Hey!" he responded with a smile, maybe it was a new fighter, he could always use another 10 bucks but judging from the persons next few words he wanted to be an enforcer "Fight Club is a buissness where when we want to fight, we fight and when we want to bet, we bet." had he not done what he did to the rule breaker her he would come of as a perfectly normal student.

He extended his free arm as to offer a proper greeting "My name is Tao Lungwei and this, this is The Way of the Dragon" he scaned the man to see if he would look the part, well he wasn't disapointed, just curious to se someone with such features and skin color. "We call bouncers for enforcers here, but yes I would need one more." He could use more then one more but that was not neccecary information for someone not working for him. "You look the part but can you act the part?" He didn't really wait for an answer when he continued as quick as he did "Let us go inside and put you to the test, shall we?".

He was impatient and took a lot on fate, impatience was unbecomming of him and he needed to strenghten his spirit some more. He didn't actually know or gotten confirmed that the person standing in front of him was interested in the spot or not, for all he knew the person could be an officer under cover, sent to infiltrate and destroy the fight club from within, a single thought saved him from becomming nervous "Cops aren't allowed to kill". Tao needed to find someone who broke the rules a second time because the punishment for a second offence was death.

He shook the kid's hand. His handshake was tough. Firm. Handshakes were usually very telling in employments, and it would do him no good if his handshake was weak. That just blatantly signaled that you were fresh fodder. "Call me Ardos."

Ardos followed him inside the establishment. It reeked 'seedy' (except in that one corner, which reeked of 'piss'), and seedy was something he could work with. It reminded him too well of the sort of work he did before he came up to the surface. It wasn't exactly decent or respectable but hopefully he wouldn't be covered in blood every time he went home. He had a feeling Le-kzen wouldn't like that.

He listened intently for what the kid had to say.

Could he act the part?

Ardos grew up in the ass end of drow society, his stomach hardened by poverty, his skin thickened by mercenary work, and his heart strengthened by the Underdark. Hauling ass was nothing but drudgery. There was nothing here these assholes could throw at him that he wouldn't be able to handle.

He watched people fighting in cages and crowds surrounding them, rooting for their favorites and trash talking the opposition. The air was thick with cigarette smoke.

"All right," he said. "What do you want me to do?"

RE: [Fight Club] Rules (Pop)

For starters he needed to explain the rules "There really are only one rule, respect the fighting grounds. This means no weapons in hand to hand fights, well I am not going to spell out every variation, I think you get it." There really where a bunch of variations: Hand to hand, weapons, special powers and free for all. There was also different types of fights such as: 1 on 1 and more numbered variations, group fight and death matches. The chain that framed a fighting ground was color coded to make it easier to spot rule breaker

"We give rule breakers one chance to redeem them self, you know what to do with a repeating rule breaker?" He gave perhaps not so subtle hints that death awaited repeating rule breaker, he still needed to hear an answer though. While he waited for that answer he scribbled down a quick color chart to explain the different colored chains which he gave to Ardos.

"The ones you want to keep track on are those in that area" he pointed to a few cages where returning rule breakers would be allowed to test their mettle. "Now if you excuse me, I need to do my homework, I will be in the center" he smiled sinister, he thrived on chaos and blood, after all he started here at the bottom of the slums two years ago, taking part in whatever random fight he could find. Being who and what he is he also thrived on order, like the embodiment of yin and yang.

Ardos nodded.

He supposed bloodshed couldn't be avoided.

If Le-kzen asked about the bloodstains, he would excuse himself by saying he warned them first.

He nodded as the kid left. He hoped he would be able to do a demonstration of his talents tonight. He stood straight and kept his hands in his back, ever vigilant to the cages Tao "assigned" him to. A few fights came and went and Ardos stood watch.

The opportunity arose a few fights later when, out of nowhere, a druggie looking dude pulled out a dagger from his cargo pants. Ardos leaped into action, pushing himself through the crowd and breaking the cage open. He disarmed the man with a hit to the wrist and the dagger hit the floor. The man tried to lunge at Ardos, but Ardos ducked and moved to his back. With a strong, smooth movement, he knocked the wind out of him with his elbow to the small of his back.

The guy fell like a heavy rag to the floor. (A shame, really, he didn't even get to use his sword.) Before he could recover, Ardos grabbed him by the back of the shirt and dragged him across the cage and out into the open area. He looked at Tao awaiting orders.

RE: [Fight Club] Rules (Pop)

He closed his school book to open another but as he needed to stretch his neck the corner of his eye caught someone trying to get Ardos, a second time offender. Tao packed up and put his stuff in a schoolbag which he threw on the chair he had been sitting on to observe just a little more.

"Attention" his voice overcame the crowds to get the focus of the crowd, While he walked towards the drow he said "What do we do with second time rule breakers?" while pointing on the guy Ardos was dragging. The crowd now foccused on Tao, the idiot trying to get away with braking the rules and the drow chanted in unison "Kill him! Kill him! Kill him!".

"Well there you go" he smiled again "Just be sure to get rid of the body, they seem to be a turn of for some people, fighters of otherwice." If Tao had been seen in a store, the park or pier anyone would just dismiss him as a regular school boy but here, but here everyone knew him, well they knew who he was and maybe thought him weird for doing school when he earned enough right here or how the creator of The Way of the Dragon could be a nice guy.

RE: [Fight Club] Rules (Pop)

The guy was trying to struggle under Ardos' grasp, but he had him pinned to the chain arena by the neck. He was punching, scratching and kicking but Ardos was practically an unbreakable machine.

"What do we do with second time rule breakers?"

The crowd started chanting 'Kill him! Kill him! Kill him!' in a disturbingly loud cacophony.

In his first night?

He could practically imagine Le-kzen shaking her head.

He felt his blood begin to rush. All things considered, he had been unnerved ever since he got here. He really, really wanted to kill this fucker, but it was a want closely associated with shame and disgust for himself. He looked back at Tao.

"The pay better be good," he hissed in warning at Tao as he collided his knuckles against this punk's nose. It sprayed blood all over his arm and clothes. As his head hit the chain cage and reeled backwards, Ardos reached out to twist his neck. He dropped to the ground, lifeless.

That felt good.

But it was a sticky, dirty kind of good, the kind where it would never wash off no matter how many showers he took. They wanted a new life but Ardos just proved to himself and the world that no matter how many times he tried to change, he would always come back to — to this death, darkness and meaningless violence. You can't wash off soot if it's a part of you.

He realized he had been staring at the corpse and shaking nervously, like a man that just committed his first murder. In a way, it was. Still, there was no hesitation and doubt in his actions. He was sure he proved his skills well enough to Tao to get a proper job.

He picked up the corpse and hauled it over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. He looked at Tao. "Okay. Don't tell me you don't have a bin for these bodies because I am not going to skulk around a forest looking for a place to bury this shit."

RE: [Fight Club] Rules (Pop)

His sinister smile would appear when the blood sprayed down the Drow and as some of it sprayed on him he didn't mind but he needed to buy new pants however with the money he earned he could buy plenty of new pants, he usually wore a buttoned skin jacket which was easy to wash of.

"Every night we are crowded and for every fight you earn 10% of the winnings of course you have to split it with the other Enforcer" the pay really was good "on the first floor we bring in as much as a cops regular and on every other floor we bring in twice as the previous floor, there are nine floors all together." That should do it.

"There are dumpsters just outside, i can't have you burying corpses when I need you here" He would always make sure he cleaned up the dumpsters before going to sleep. He might call the place his second home but the fact was that it was his first home, with a perfectly lockable door and one trashy, dirty and bloody couch that should have been thrown away for years, in his office. he slept there whenever the next day wasn't a school day.

Observing Ardos shaking he wasn't still sure wether or not he was an undercover cop, how he had handled the idiot showed that he wasn't but Tao wondered about his shakings. There where many reasons why a man could shake after killing a man so he didn't bother with it however if Ardos had been an undercover cop he could no longer return because firstly cops aren't allowed to kill without provocation and secondly the man was sure to get a taste for this line of work. His sinister smile would erupt once more "You are hired.".

Ardos nodded. If he was going to be honest with himself, this was a whole lot better than standing around outside McDonald's and letting hobos and sticky children paw on his department-issued shirts. He'd have to do laundry every day. At least here he could dress however he wanted as long as he could walk the talk.

"All right. You got yourself an 'Enforcer'." Ardos offered a handshake to Tao. "I'm gonna get rid of this... thing and work my shift for tonight. After tonight, we should discuss a good schedule that won't conflict with my other job. Other than that, I'm yours." He tilted his head upwards. "Sound good?"
