"Wow! What's going through solids and stuff like? Is it fun?"

"It's fun, yeah. Not really as much as it was at first. When I was younger, it meant freedom to do nearly anything. Now, I'm a bit more controlled with my powers." Caitlin said, laughing a little.

"...At least you can do more than one thing, right?"

"Yeah, I guess so. It is pretty exciting. But ice is cool too. Who knows? Maybe I'm not the only person who's powers freeze up in cold. That would be an advantage... I doubt I could ever get in a fight with you." Caitlin said. She wanted to add that the girl looked far too sweet to get in a fight with anyone, but didn't.

((im trying harder Addie. Can you tell? At all?))

October smiled when the girl laughed. She didn't seem as depressed now, but that was just what she thought. She probably still was, but she wasn't going to mention anything, for fear of upsetting her again. "Can you bring other people or things through walls, too?" she asked, just out of curiosity. And, perhaps the fact that she wanted to know if it was possible for her to go through walls as well if Caitlin brought her along.

".... Maybe I'm not the only person who's powers freeze up in cold."

She shrugged her shoulders. "Maybe," she said. "My powers work in the cold, though. But they don't seem to get any stronger or anything..." She had just realized that now. It was somewhat odd, ice powers not becoming stronger when it was cold out, but then again, maybe it wasn't. The only other ice elementalist October knew was her sister.

She nodded somewhat in agreement to what the older female had said about doubting they could ever get into a fight. She knew that it wasn't impossible, though, so she didn't comment.

"Hey, Caitlin?" she asked. "If you don't mind me asking, who was that other girl you met who had ice powers?" The twelve-year-old's head tilted to the side a little, hoping her hopefully new friend didn't mind that she had asked.

"Yeah, I can bring other people through. Wanna try?" Without waiting for an answer, Caitlin grabbed her arm, and pulled through the wall enough so that their heads poked outside. She pulled back in and laughed.

"Sorry if that freaked you out at all. Imagine what that looked like to anyone out there..." Caitlin drew away from the wall and sat down again in the middle of the room. Suddenly, she just flopped back and laid on her back, before rolling onto her stomach.

"Oh my gosh. I have so much energy all of the sudden. Guess what? I'm moving out of this tower. Into a cave in the mountains. To live with my stepmother. Isn't that awesome?" She grinned, hoping the girl didn't think she was too weird.

"No, I don't remember her name. She left the academy, I think."
