Kacey shrugged, "I guess.....Well enough about me and my problems. So what's your 'gift'?" She asked him, changing the subject from her to him. She didn't want to talk about herself anymore.

Mainly shadows, anything from melding into them to making other people's shadows materialize and go against them, which explains why I lack one.
He said with a light shrug.
Not too special.

I know this is an awkward moment and everything but would you like to go out with me? On a date I mean.
He said quietly, barely audible.

Kacey was slightly surprised he asked her out. She wasn't sure if she heard him right, maybe he asked me something else. She thought wondering if she heard wrong again. Kacey smiled, "um yes I'll go out with you." Kacey said finally.

Wicked. Anywhere you'd like to go to in specific?
He asked with a grin.

Anywhere at all?
He asked curiously. He wanted for her to like the date.

Kacey thought for a moment. "It doesn't matter, as long as we have a good time, I don't think anything else should matter." Kacey said still smiling at him.

Then it's decided, a good place to have a good time.
He stated, pretending to be taking notes, a mischiveous look upon him.

Hmm... What about if I meet you at your dorm and we figure what to do from there. Let's say on... Saturday?
He asked in an almost child-like manner, an eyebrow raised.

"Ok Saturday it is then. I'll be waiting." Kacey said, she was still a bit surprised he even asked her out, but she was glad he did. This was the kind of thing she needed to take her mind off of things.

"Oh if you wanted to know. My name is Kacey." She said introducing herself, she had forgotten to tell him her name when she first met him. Kacey raised a eyebrow, "Sure what game?" She asked.

Yeah, that's a good thing to know, though I was planning to find it out the hard way if you didn't tell me.
He said with a lazy grin.

A pleasure meeting you Kacey.
He said with a light bow of his head.

It's a silly version of twenty questions. My little sister was obssessed with the game and it taught me that you learn some things about another person with this. Pretty much youa sk a person something, in this case silly like: favorite animal, paper or plastic, or so on, and they have to answer, and then they ask you something different and so on.
He said with a light shrug.
