Feeling others pain

Sitting on a rock near the cliff, Kacey used her powers to sense the place out. Kacey could feel the free souls, which usually meant a lot of people had died there. Using her powers again she started to feel their pain. But how did they all die?

Kind of dangerous for one to be standing so close to the edge.
Said a male from behind her as he shook his head, his red hair moving slightly to show his bright green eyes.

Mikash looked at her curiously as he sat down against a log and looked up at her.

Ignoring the comment she asked him with out looking at him, "Can you feel it? So many people have killed themselves here." Kacey said in a sad voice. "You can't, can you?" she said, she wished someone could have the same power as she did then maybe she wouldn't feel so alone all the time.

Death is too positive in my opinion for me to feel it, sorry.
He said with a light shrug. Mikah's power were shadows and he had the tendency of picking up negative things, yet death wasn't exactly negative in his mind.

Kacey turned to him, "That's alright I'm use to being the only one that can feel it. You don't want to be here do you? The school I mean, I can sense it from you." Kacey said to him. She didn't want to scare him or anything, it was just that sometimes she couldn't help it, her powers had a mind of their own.

"Maybe, I dunno. It's kinda my power." Kacey said, she couldn't help it, her powers sensed many things and sometimes she didn't understand them.

That's got to be not very fun.
He spoke bluntly.

What about you? Do you want to be here?

I guess you have a point. Being around that which you know instead of the foreign.
He guessed.
