Shay had never been very good at making friends. Since she started living with Klaus, that had changed some. She was more stable than she'd been before. Maybe that wasn't noticeable to everyone else, but Shay sure noticed it.

The night before, she had asked permission to invite a friend over after school. Sherry, or Mansmasher300, as was her real name, was the only non-family friend Shay really had. The only other kid Shay kept up with on a daily basis. They didn't necessarily have a ton in common, and Shay wasn't comfortable around her yet, but she was a friend, and she was as normal as this island got.

That day, when school was over, Shay invited Sherry to Klaus' condo near the Strip. A large, four-story home with no alleys on either side. Shay always figured that was a strategic move on his part.

"So, this is home," she told Sherry once she'd opened the door to reveal the main room. It wasn't uncommon to see multiple members of the Rosales gang scattered about the home. Children too. Klaus' home -- her home now, too, she supposed -- was always buzzing with activity. Today was no exception. A few men and women loitered around. Shay wondered if Klaus was having a meeting, but she doubted it was something that big.

"Don't mind all the people," Shay told Sherry. She called out to let Klaus know she'd gotten home okay, "home. And I have a friend over. You better be behaving."

This had to be one of the coolest days of her life on the island. Ever since she had been asked by Eroshay, she had been counting down the days, maybe even the hours for her to be able to check out her friends living quarters. It was a silly thing to get excited about, yes, but she tried not to show it too much. That being said; she still dressed to impress. Sherry was wearing a lovely baby blue summer dress, that came over her ankles and shoulders, as well as being just below her collarbone. It wasn't too... Doll like, which is what she was going for. Her shoes were a lovely violet color, being short heeled ankle boots to compliment her outfit. Her hair, as it was rather long, was fastened into a lovely French braid, but even then the ends of her hair still touched the floor around her.

Sherry was astonished to see such a big home. It wasn't as if it was the biggest that she had ever seen, especially before she had moved to Manta Carlos, but it was something new compared to her cramped dorm. Shay was lucky in her eyes, to have such a nice home, with hopefully a big and loving family for her to have at her side. Sherry didn't want to be jealous, but she was.

As they entered the condo, she couldn't help but gasp. It wasn't that it was super amazing but..... It was more than that to her. It felt like a home, with various people she had never seen moving around; she was only able to see a few of them before they disappeared out of her sight.

"This is the coolest home ever." A long, radiant smile plagued her lips as she did a double take of her surroundings. Before she stepped in any further, she kicked off her shoes and placed them to the right of the door, as she didn't want to trek whatever had been on her into such a place. "That's alright, they don't scare me." It was mostly because Sherry hadn't really seen anyone yet to be scared of.
