It was a nice and warm afternoon. Akane skipped her last lesson for the day and left the school campus to meet with Kenta. She still wore her uniform, she didn't feel like going back to her room to change. Although there was still about an hour until they should meet at the appointed place, she headed straight to the woods feeling the urge to be alone for a while.
She was nervous of course, this was the first time she would cast dark illusion spell on a person who didn't attack her first, but the reason she was about to do that bothered her even more. She walked slowly following the path marked on the map Kenta gave her, thinking of the all possible outcomes of their trial. She was wondering if it will actually work and help him find the answers about his past, and if it does, what will happen once he had them. She was afraid that she might have promised him too much.
After a long walk she finally reached the edge of the woods and spotted the clear area Kenta told her about. He wasn't there yet and it gave her some more time to try to calm down. She opened her bag, took a blanket out of it and stretched it on the ground. She then sat down letting out a sigh.
'Enough! I'm the next Okami - if I can't help a kitsune, who can?' She shook her head and the worried expression disappeared from her face.
Instead of thinking about what could happen she decided to clear her mind - that was something she really needed if she intended to make her dark spell last longer. The greenery that surrounded her helped a lot with that, it reminded her of home...
