Exploring With A Sibling

The blonde haired boy walked down the hallway, not carrying his brief case. For once. he just wanted to explore the school and not play with his poisons. He didn't want to go outside and go somewhere he wasn't supposed to, either. Mommy was scary when she was angry.

Setsuna shook his head to try and get his hair out of his eyes. It didn't work, though, like always; the hair just fell right back down and covered the whole left half of his face. Oh well.

Cordelia was in a class, and he really had nothing better to do. He remembered that she had mentioned something about adopting another little vampire, but he couldn't recall all the details. This was fun, though; he was the only human in pretty much a whole family of vampires. I wish I was a vampire... he thought to himself, continuing on his way.

Setsuna stopped when he saw the girl. He looked at her, blinking, not really understanding why she was staring at him like that. He didn't understand why she knew his name, either. "Yes, I'm Suna," he told her, offering a small smile. She seemed nervous, so hopefully that would calm her a bit, or at least reassure her. "Who are you?"

When asked if he was Cordelia's son, he nodded. He didn't usually hear people call his mommy by her first name, but he knew it nonetheless. "Yeah, I am. Why do you ask?"

"Ya.. Im Sasha... Im your.. adopted... Sister.."

Setsuna's face brightened considerably. So this was Sasha? Awesome! He jumped and hugged her, pretty much glomping her. "Hi, sis!!" he exclaimed with a laugh, holding her tightly. It was going to be so much fun being a brother and having a sibling!

"So.. you wanna go.. explore or something?"

He let go of her and nodded. "Yeah, come on! Let's go!" he said, beginning to run down the hallway. He stopped after a few yards, though, looking back at her and grinning. He would wait for his little sister... or was she his big sister? "How old are you?" he asked, wanting to know now.

"Do you get to stay around her a lot?? Cuz. your moms a teacher??"

Setsuna shrugged. "Kind of. I usually stay in her dorm room, though some days I hang out in her classes." He twirled around in a circle. "Have you been staying with her a lot?"

So they were the same age. Well, then he would ask for her birthday. Not only because they would, of course, celebrate it, but because he wanted to know if she was older or younger than himself. "Cool! When's your birthday?" he asked.

"... Your.. er.. our mom seems really nice..."

He nodded in agreement. "She is. But she's really scary when she's mad..." he warned her. "Like really scary." He shuddered. He had only seen his mother mad a few times, but he hadn't liked it those few occasions.

"... Its weird to have a family..."

"What do you mean?" he asked, tilting his head to the side. Cordelia hadn't exactly told him about how she had met Sasha yet. He took her wrist when she held her hand out and started walking with her.

"We could go to the lawn or something.. or something.. "

He beamed. "Ok!" he exclaimed, and with that, started running toward the nearest exit. Running wasn't really a good idea for him, seeing as he had asthma, but oh well. It wasn't like he was going to die or anything.

Setsuna pouted. She was older than him, since she would be turning six. "January thirteenth," he told her. He was slightly upset now, seeing as he wasn't older. Oh, well... at least they were both five.

He began to walk as well once they were outside. He was breathing hard to catch his breath, but he would be fine. He had used his inhaler earlier, and they hadn't been running for that long.

"I never really had an ACTUAL family... My parents deserted me and a vampire found me and changed me"

Not knowing how else to react, he just nodded. He smiled as she showed him her fangs. "Those are awesome," he said to her. "I wish I had fangs!"

"What do you mean by scary??'

Even though Sasha's thoughts were both right, Setsuna had never seen the murderous side to his mother, and therefore couldn't tell her that. But, in living with someone like Cordelia, he would eventually see the side of her that made her kill innocent people to relieve her anger. "She just gets really, really mad. She'll start yelling and stuff and threaten to take away stuff you like." He sighed. "She almost took away my poisons once just because I went into the forbidden area."
