'So they didn't live here.' She thought to herself as he scratched Attel softly with her hands. In other words, it was still their forest. Then again, Claire herself still had a dorm at the school, most likely one that would stay until she graduated. After that she would live out in the forest, maybe make a house, with the money she was getting from her part time job.

"I see." She said to them, unsure of how to reply to that. The running made her feel calmer it seemed. She wouldn't have expected that. She had rarely ran with Attel, as his strides were so much larger that it kind of gave him an unfair advantage. It was as if she was a tortoise and he was a cheetah looking at its dinner. "Maybe sometime I could join you?" With wolves and a girlish person with her, she could see running being a lot more than to get away from danger.

Kukri had spent most of her life running, and at some point she decided that she wanted to be able to run on her own two feet, since then she had spent years being able to keep up with wolves the size of ponies, so that now her legs were strong, almost as strong as theirs. In fact, though he would never admit it, she could easily outrun Valor.

She felt the wolves behind her bristle slightly, they were wary of everyone, but she longed for someone her own age and so turning she spoke to them in a foreign language. Finally she turned around and looked at Claire, "I'd love that," she said.

She was forever grateful to her wolves for everything they had done, they had guarded her, taught her, trained her, loved her, raised her, they were her entire world. However now she felt the desire to know the world, and the people within it, she wanted to know what it felt like to have a friend.

Claire smiled, a smile that no one had ever seen before. She herself wasn't even sure how she was making such a beautiful and happy smile. This was different from every other friend that she had made in the past. This was someone that she could connect with on so many levels.

"Thank you then." She bowed halfway, not wanting to plant her face into Attel's thick fur. "I hope that I will enjoy it. Perhaps our wolves can then run too?" She wasn't too fond of Attel leaving her side to go with smaller and unknown wolves of his girl. She knew though, that maybe it would be for the best for them to not be influenced by their wolves. Attel growled at her, not liking the idea. She tapped his back, just in front of where she was sitting. He needed to stop being so self centered.
