"Hm, well I just sort of ... Invented it, but I'll try to recreate it so I can give it to you! I can't bake very often, though. The little toaster oven I smuggled in is a bit ah... Old. " The toaster oven that she had nicknamed Grandfather was very old, and very tempermental. It was only on good days that he would let her bake something in his little stomach.

"Yes, I think he'll fit in quite nicely with my other flock of pets. Teddy is a ... Teddybear, right?" Teddy sounded like a name for a teddybear, but it could also be short for a name. In either case, she would be happy to have a first official friend for her Henry. Giggling a bit, she added, "Yes, perhaps Teddy and Henry can go on playdates together.

<div align=center>"Maybe we should sneak to the kitchen some time," the boy giggled, "I bet the ovens there work just fine." They had to, after all, they had to cook for the whole school, didn't they? William couldn't think of anything less inconvenient than a kitchen without an oven, what use was that? Kitchens were for cooking, you couldn't cook without an oven. "They can't tell us off for that, can they?" He asked, it's not like they would be stealing anything, they would just go down there and use the ovens, that's all. They were supposed to be used, that's why there were there.

"Yes, he is a teddy bear... He doesn't have a very original name I'm afraid." The bear didn't really have any friends, which he thought was quite sad, Gabe didn't have any soft toys, "I'm twenty three, Bilvy!" He didn't really think age made a difference, though, maybe Gabriel did have them, and he just didn't want to admit it. "I like cuddly things." He told her, he liked to snuggle things, it didn't really matter what they were, as long as they were soft and warm, that's why people were especially good, since for the most part they were both of those things.</div>

Ania lit up when William mentioned sneaking to the kitchen. "Can we? I mean... I don't want to get in trouble. Perhaps if we bribed someone to ... Not look in the kitchen for an hour or so?" She had never bribed someone before, especially for an hour of baking.

Ania felt a bit happier when she learned that William also had a plush toy that he treasured. It wasn't often that you met people willing to admit their love for toys. "Well, original or not, I'm sure he's quite lovely. Henry would love to befriend him. Cuddly things were excellent, even more so if they were alive to cuddle with. "I think I'd like to die in a herd of kittens. I wouldn't mind if they smothered me. At least I'll be happy in there." It was a bit odd to think about death, but Ania decided that it wouldn't be so bad to die if she could grow old and immerse herself in a pool of puppies or kittens. That would be extremely ideal. "One day, if I ever become rich, I'm going to have a big swimming pool full of stuffed animals and kittens. You can come swim in it, if you like. "

<div align=center>William nodded enthusiastically, "that's a good idea." Baking wasn't a crime, was it? Besides, they'd share, probably. There would be no reason for them to get into trouble, they could make some cake and cookies, and William would do all the washing up afterwards. He didn't mind washing up, he liked to tidy, it was relaxing. He tended to clean and tidy up when he was stressed, it helped, he found. "I don't think anyone would look in the kitchen at night anyway, we can always have someone guard the door and warn us when someone is coming, right?" He thought that was a good idea.

"That would be nice." He smiled, girls and boys weren't allowed into each others dorms, he didn't really understand why, it didn't really stop them, he'd noticed at least. William took a moment to imagine a herd of kittens, it'd be all fluff and warmth, he supposed that would be a nice way to die, since you'd probably fall asleep in the kittens first, and not even realize that it was happening. "I would love to swim in it." He chirped, "I'd love to fall asleep in it." He imagined how warm and cosy that would be, it made him purr.</div>

"Yes! Maybe we can assemble a small group of people to help, too. Make the process quicker. Though, if we do get in trouble, I don't want everyone else to have to share the blame... " Well, if nothing else, she would be happy to take the blame for such fun. It wouldn't be too hard to bribe others into helping for a cookie or two.

"Yes, it would make a nice bed, too. A bed full of purring sleepy little kittens." Ania closed her eyes happily, imagining a bed full of little purring kittens. Ah, that sounded so very nice. Puppies might squirm around too much, and pee everywhere, but kittens sounded nicer.

"It's too bad, perhaps I should have assembled a team of kittens as a gift. Maybe next year I can do that. Or your birthday! When is your birthday?" It never hurt to learn someone's birthday, especially when they enjoyed gifts that were easy and fun to make.

<div align=center>William thought this was a good plan, though saying that he didn't really have many friends that would do something like that for him, Gabriel was probably the only one, though he'd probably be just a little bit confused about it, he told Ania this, and laughed. It would be a lot of fun, "I think we should arrange this." He suggested, if they asked Gabriel nicely he'd probably comply, he wondered if Ania knew anyone like that, and asked her if she did. The thought of a bed full of kittens made him giggle again, he didn't really want to squash any of them, but they'd make a nice blanket.

"Ah! My birthday is on the eleventh of February." He answered, "I'm almost eighteen." His birthday was just about two months away, it would be strange to turn eighteen, he'd technically be an adult, but he didn't really feel like an adult, he didn't think he ever would. He'd have to move up into college, the thought scared him a little, he didn't want to grow up, the thought of it was terrifying to him. He was too naive to ever grow up properly, he liked to be looked after too much.</div>

"I'm sure I can find some people! It shouldn't be too difficult to find a couple watchdogs in exchange for sweets." She thought about any of her own friends who might want to join. She could think of a couple people, one person in particular. They wouldn't need a whole army thankfully, just a couple people would do. Perhaps some of these people could even bring their favourite recipes to try to make.

"That's not too far off! You'll finally be a full adult. That's exciting!" He would soon be going to college, and doing adult things like groceries and laundry! How exciting. At least when you're an adult, you gain more freedom than you had as a child. That was definitely a large plus. "Let's plan this! It sounds fun. Perhaps later this week we can crash the kitchens."

<div align=center>Bill nodded enthusiastically, bribery more or less always worked, humans were easily persuaded, especially when you happened to be as adorable as both of the two friends were. There was a charm about them that made it incredibly hard to ever say no. It was a good quality, really, incredibly useful. It made it a lot easier for William to get his own way, though it made it just that much worse when he didn't get his own way, since he was more or less used to the opposite all the time, especially when Gabriel was around, Bill could wrap him around his little finger.

"It's not." He frowned, shaking his head. "Growing up is really scary." He admitted softly, he didn't want to have adult responsibilities, though he wouldn't really have them for a little while just yet, as soon as he did he would probably freak out and try to run away from them, William was good at running away from situations that he'd decided would be too scary to face. He was a coward. "Let's do it! We could do it at the weekend, so we don't have to worry about being too tired for classes the next day."</div>

Ania hadn't ever thought about growing up as scary, she had always thought that it was an honour. When she turned 18, she was delighted to go out by herself and enroll in school. Wildly independent, Ania loved the feeling of complete freedom. No one to tell you how to live your life, and no one hovering over you critisizing your every move.

"The weekend sounds perfect. Assemble as many people as you can find, and I'll do the same!" This was going to be exciting! She hadn't properly baked in quite a long time, and the prospect of having a whole group of friends to bake with sounded so wonderful. "Do you know how to bake, too? I don't know very many other people who can. Most people I've seen barely know how to make noodles." She had tried to teach her peers how to make more appetising things, but they had grown bored and opted for another meal of stiff and badly made noodles. Ah, well if they weren't willing to learn, they could suffer through their cheap noodles. "Perhaps the school would let us start a baking club of some sort. So we wouldn't have to sneak around so much."

<div align=center>William, however, was not someone you could label as independent, he liked to be looked after and he didn't like having responsibility. He'd been more or less mollycoddled by his mother and hadn't been exposed to anything that might give him rebellious ideas or that might be deemed inappropriate, which was most likely why he was so naive and innocent, he didn't really know how to be a teenager, no one had really talked to him about it, in truth he didn't really know how to be a boy either, but he supposed that part didn't really matter, he couldn't really change the way he was.

William didn't really know many people, but he'd try his best. "No one I really know can really bake... At all..." He laughed. Gabriel certainly should not have been allowed anywhere near an oven, and William hadn't even asked Micheal about his cooking skills, he'd only ever seen him eat once, even. A baking club! That was a good idea, "we could run it!" He chirped, although he didn't quite fancy the idea of being responsible for all of that washing up, "we could teach people how to make cupcakes and how to bake cookies."</div>
