"It may still have content and meaning but I still don't understand how a black steak on a white canvas would come to mean the opression of other humans by another group of them. On my home plane I have a sky the could have been paited by van gogh with darker paints an the ocasional streak of red." Shrugging Kaya continued while the walked, "I don't know if it's just that I'm to closed minded or it's not my thing. I've prefered more of the romanticism period in you're human history. Though that could be more to my deeper nature then anything. "

In a way Kaya could feel live admiring her clothes and she hazarded a quick Glace over, there were a lot more people then Live admiring her though so the visual confirmation was a good thing to have, the Live asked a question she hadn't quite answered to anyone yet, "Oh, made it myself actually. When I'm at home in able to make shadows solid. So I made a kimono to wear to the art festival." The sun had gotten lower into the sky and on her kimono small stars began to emerge from the silk.

"If you want you can touch it, though I think its softer then any human fabric and comes in the shades of the night sky," She said as she brought one of the sleeves closer to Live, not wanting to impose anything. "...so its a wonderful material to work with... If you like it I could make you a shirt or something and you could give it a test run"

Live gave a small nod. She wasn't trying to convince Kaya to fall in love with abstract art. She really couldn't care less what other people thought of the things she liked. She also figured her version of abstract was a bit different than what Kaya had in mind. She wondered if at some point she could show Kaya her drawings. She would probably like them. Maybe even recognize some of things in them.

Live's eyes grew a bit as the girl explained how she made the clothes herself from shadows. She knew there was a reason she liked it so much! When Kaya offered to make her something, Live started to smile but she quickly turned her head to the ground and forced a bleak expression back to her face.

"Oh that be kinda cool. I mean, if you had time I would definitely wear a shadow made hoodie. I mean, I'm a shadow walker after all." Live couldn't remember at the moment how much she had told this girl about her powers. It was still strange that she now lived in a place where it was okay to talk about it; where there were other people like her.

Kaya could have sworn that Live just supressed her emotions and that worried her a little, Kaya knew that she herself rather wore her emotions on her sleeves as it were. So seeing someone else go out of their way to hide the emotional experiencences that they were going through made her worry for her most recent friend. Deciding she didn't want to possibly push her away by asking if Live was OK Kaya continued on as if she didn't see the change.

"Oh it's no trouble. It's rather simple once I got accustomed to how it works as a fabric. Though I think my biggest problem that I would encounter is I would need you to be there so we can make sure I get the measurements right." with a playful smile Kaya used her hip to slightly push the girl. "And to be honest I think you'd like to see my home.it's quite the sight to see."

Live jumped a little bit, pulled from her gloom for a moment, as Kaya gave her a little bump with her hip.

Live really wasn't use to physical contact from friends. People use to shy away from her a lot back home. She grew up in a place full of sweet southern bells and good old church goers. One look at Live and it wasn't hard to realize why.

It was strange; Live almost looked normal now compared to some of the other people about it. It was at that moment, with the crowed of people, and things, she didn't even know existed a month ago, and being asked by her new demon friend if she wanted to visit her home world that the culture shock suddenly set in.

Live looked up excitedly, suddenly unable to contain her child like joy, "I would love to go to see your home. I have seen into the demonic world before but I haven't been able to go in it. My power's aren't strong enough for that." Live wondered in that moment if she could get stronger though. So far it seemed anything was possible at this school.

Not being able to stop herself Kaya gave a small giggle at Lives reaction to her invitation to visit. The sheer amount of joy on her face was such a contrast to what was there before it made Kaya smile herself. "Well the calculations it takes for me to hop between are quite complex but I've been doing it for so long it's second nature to me. But if anything it usually is easier to go from here to home them the other way around. So I'm sure you could get the magic down eventually." She gave Live an easy smile as she looked aroumd all the people seeing her as just another person.

They were reaching another stage setup and from the hard deep beats it was pounding out it sounded to Kaya like heavy metal, the vocals being sung in German if she recognized it correctly. "now going back to art for a second ... " Kaya said as the current song ended and the beat of the next one came on. The bass seeming to match rythem with her heaet. "What's your favorite kind of music? I can't seem to decide myself, though I know I don't like rap. Seems like terrible music to me... "

Live's eyes grew a bit again at the thought of learning new magic. Most everything she had learned up to this point had been self taught through trial and error. She wasn't even sure if all of it was magic or what and she was pretty sure that some of the steps she used were pretty bogus. It was hard to collect legitimate spells and rituals in a world full of fakes.

"You should definitely teach me then." Live tried to sound nonchalant about it, noticing Kaya's giggles at her excitement. She didn't want to seem like she actually cared about something after all.

Ah music. A decent topic no matter who you were. "Oh, I like pretty much any genre, minus country or gospel or anything like that. If it sounds like it should be in a horror movie though, I will almost definitely like it." Dark, creepy, depressing. It was kinda her thing.

Kaya thought about for a second wondering if she could teach Live. "I'm not sure if I CAN teach you how to go between the realms. Mine are highly specialized to take me to my room and back. I mean if you want to come in and out of my room I wouldn't object, though it might make for some awkward moments if I have a...partner over. " Kaya said somewhat nonchalantly.

"though I'm sure helping with the basics wouldn't hurt. And it would give you a safe place to come to if you were in trouble. Hmm why not, sure I'll help you on your way to mastering your abilities. " Kaya gave Live a friendly smile as the topic turned to music.

She put her hand to her chin as she thought about Live's personal likes towards music. "I think I'm going to have to agree with you there. Though I get chills when there's a choir in a soundtrack." almost to illustrate the point a shiver ran up her tail and through her spine.

"although ive got to disagree with the horror. Im quite the...well to be blunt, pussy when it come to scary movies and games. I don't mind a good scary book though. I think you humans put is as being an...empath I think the word is. My mind puts me into the characters shoes and well...I start crawling over seats trying to get to the door, its quite embarrassing really." Kaya started to blush a deeper shade of purple as they walked "I much prefer comedies and the 'chick flick' though I do find the stories sometimes rather simple its just easier on my empathy towards the characters then scary movies."

She blushed a bit when Kaya said that she may have partners over. Live wasn't great with the whole topic of sex and romance. She was rather unexperienced in the area and felt pretty awkward whenever the topic came up. Love wasn't exactly her thing.

She gave a big smile despite herself though when Kaya said she would help her with her abilities. The longer Live was on the island, the more she saw the other people and creatures around, the more she began to wonder just what her full capabilities could be. Sure, right now she could only change form, perform a few rituals, and see some spirits, but what was that really it? Her mind slipped off for a moment but was brought back as Kaya talked about her movie preferences.

"Oh... I'm honestly kind of surprised. I mean, I don't know if this is like 'racist' or something but I would have just assumed demons like scary shit. I mean, demons are usually one of the main characters of horror films and stuff." But then again those were often probably made by mortals who had never been around an actual demon before. And Live was aware that there were many different kinds of demons with different levels of evil and chaos and alignments. She had even met a very kind and gentle demon once during a ritual. It came from hell but it liked flowers and sunshine and had even told Live it was considering trying to ascend to heave. Who even knew that was a thing?!

"Well there that's thing, Demons are SCARY. Hence why I don't watch horror BECAUSE I don't like seeing family in movies. Well they're VERY distance but still, they scared the shit out of me when I was younger and they still scare me even now so I prefer not to see them popping up on my screen. That and empathizing with the victims also doesn't help me enjoy the movies." With a sigh and another shudder running up her body she chuckled at Live's comment about the 'racism'

"To be honest MOST demon's don't scare easily. I on the other hand am again quite the scardy cat when it comes to that sort of thing. Oh, and before you get any devilish ideas of trying to surprise me I'd like to point out that I've been trained to react with a TON of force... With a Mace." She said with a smirk as her tail wished back and forth in a playful manner she didn't really mean anything mean by it. Her tone also denoted the joke so that Live's newness to being a friend with her.

Live gave a small nod. It made sense. She also wouldn't be a fan of watching her family appear on TV to scare the shit out of her. Although, her family was scary to her in a very different way than Kaya's was. But then again, fear was fear no matter where it came from.

Live chuckled, "I'm not big on practical jokes anyways." She was definitely a bitch at times and messed with people but she never went out of her way to jump scare someone or pull some stupid prank. But if you messed with Live you had better be ready to get messed with back.

As they were almost to the stage where the band was playing, Live caught sight of a booth just off to the right. While most of the other tents and stands were white, this one was a sleek and elegant black. The fabric looked more expensive even. She could see two long tables inside covered in jewelry. The sign outside it read, "CHARMS, CHAINS, AND CHILLS". Two girls sat inside, both in all black with lots of dark makeup.

Live paused and looked to Kaya, "Hey I'm gonna go check out that stand over there if you wanna join."
