Appearance Description:
Erik is about 6'3 with hair that falls just above his shoulders, It's almost always wild and untamed but in the way that makes it look like he meant it to be that way. He walks with his shoulders squared his spine straight and every step he takes is precise. He has multiple tattoos, and his ears are gauged. He's kind of Pale but makes up for it with the tattoos that line his body. His eyes are and incredibly light blue, that seem to glow even brighter when he uses his power
Personality -
on the inside and to his family, Erik is cocky and sweet at the same time. He's the kind of person that would help and old lady. However at the same time he shies away from human contact because he's more comfortable around machines. There's a part of him that panics at the thought of emotions, mostly because he doesn't understand them. However under neath his thick shell he's a complete goofball, and incredibly charming.
On the outside however he's cold and calculating, he'll tell you the odds you have of messing up without a second thought. He will also ignore you if you aren't being logical or just call you stupid. He's a charmer with ladies and he doesn't ever settle down, maybe he will for somebody but there's very little possibility of him falling in love. He's a Mad scientist at best, he believes in the advancement of civilization just as much as believes that the tomorrow will be a knew day. He has the potential to be incredibly evil because he is more than willing to sacrifice people to further humanity and their achievements.
Powers - Erik is what's classified as a Meta-human or a mutant. He is able, to due two things, control technology and see an interactive 3D display of the the power grid within a 30 mile radius of where he is. Both of his powers are possible because Erik can read, sense, and manipulate the electrical pulses and waves that technology gives off. Because of this, he's incredibly lost away from things that don't run on electricity.
Technopathy
This power allows him to interact and control technology. Because this power is limited by his understanding he's only able to take apart and put together objects he can take apart and put together manually. It helps him greatly if he has a blue print to follow and most of the time he actually takes the time to make a blue print. He can control all technology withing a 30ft radius of himself, however the bigger the object the less likely it is he can keep control before his nose starts to bleed or he passes out.
Transducer-
His secondary power enhances his technopathy allowing him to hack into things like phone records, websites, emails and see them as if he was actually reading them. everything looks like a 3d scale model allowing him to interact and move things around. While it seems very real and interactive to him, no one can see it but him. This is because his brain and receiving the signals and waves and turning them into a picture for his eyes to see. Everything that he can see feels real when he touches it.
However he cannot function around radios that are on, the radio frequency waves confuses him to the point of making him paranoid. He'll go into panic attacks and possibly pass out from the stress. He can loose signals during a storm, and be easily distracted by high frequency noises or hear static as if you're trying to find a tv stations or radio station that isn't coming it. Sometime's that's all he hears so he uses music to drown it out.

Childhood:
Erik was the only son born to Tamara Mitcheals and the Only son born to Erik Mitcheals. Mostly because by the time he was able to actually understand that he had siblings, they were already gone. He doesn't exactly know if they're like him or just ogg in the world because his parents never talked about him. During his child hood he was more than happy to read books about cars and help his father in his garage. Although around the age of six they started to notice weird things about him. Like how he was able to turn the tv station without the remote or get cable stations that weren't part of the package. To be honest, they were afraid of what people would think so they didn't even say anything. As the years went on he got a better grasp of what was going, though he didn't know what it was called. It was just low level things, being able to make his remote control cars move without the remote. Fixing them when they were broken because he had taken one apart.
Teenage years:
However He moved to the Island after his secondary power kicked in. He was in school and the school radio was playing. His power when haywire interfering with signal and confusing him because he could see the words and hear them. He didn't think anybody else was seeing them, it go to the point where he started hearing loud static because of way his power interacted with radios. It became so loud that it over powered everything else and caused him to pass out. He woke up in the hospital and was told he had a panic attack and hit his head. He was sent a letter from the academy and moved after he was well enough to leave the hospital.
He adjusted to the school incredibly well, enjoyed the feeling of being around people. He hasn't talked to his parents since the incident he's always felt like they were scared of him for some reason. He's been working on his power and doesn't really know what he wants to do in life as of yet. He's going to be graduating school and he's pretty sure he'll just open up a shop somewhere and call it a day.
