The sudden appearance of Roldan's head in his office did not bode well. Not because he didn't like Roldan or anything like that, but because he looked nervous.

Nervous cops were not good business.

The name del Bosque was also not good business.

Especially not considering Angelo had literally just finished talking with Internal affairs.

So the moment del Bosque got mentioned, Angelo was up on his feet, heading along behind Roldan, and all without running. He wasn't going to run. It had to be business as usual, and if he went charging along through the station, someone was going to notice.

Someone probably named Nick Miller.

But he let himself into the interview room, clicking the door shut behind him before turning to face Celeste.

"I was told I should be in here?"

Celeste looked from one cop to another extremely perplexed, not sure anymore what was actually happening, and getting a very bad feeling that she had said something she shouldn't have. Looking uneasily from Officer Roldan to the tall blond officer that had just entered, she looked like she felt - confused.

"I was just telling Detective Drakenhart about detective Miller and my niece, I am not in trouble am I?" she asked, still not sure what was happening.

"No no, Cel- ah Miss Foresiter. You're fine. I just. Based on what I heard, I thought my Sargeant should hear what you had to say as well."

Roldan gave Angelo that look. The look that said 'something's fucky.' The Felix look. The Toby look.

Angelo did not like that look. Boy did he not like that look.

"You're the aunt of Miss del Bosque?" Angelo said, before realizing there were apparently multiple del Bosques. Not Miss Forestier apparently, but enough. "Zoraida, in particular." Better to clarify that.

"You aren't in trouble, but I'd like to hear what it was you had to say that got Roldan to rush over and grab me."

He paused for a moment, and then settled in on a chair, trying to make things seem more casual.

"Zoraida is my niece, yes..." Celeste confirmed as she looked at the blond detective and then back at Officer Drakenhart, feeling somewhat relieved that he was here too. Giving the blond detective her full attention now, Celeste shifted her weight in her seat before she began.

"I was telling Officer Drakenhart here that Detective Miller came to the school the other day and started asking me questions about my niece, saying that she had she had attacked a warehouse and that the police were sure she had done it. He also mentioned a man dressed in red being seen with her and asked if I knew anything." she said trying to remember the conversation and unconsciously shivering a little, Nick had unsettled her, he didn't seem like a good person - her witch's intuition told her that much.

Roldan was antsy, but hiding it better now. He knew something was up and the way Angelo had followed him so quickly without an explanation meant that he was, somehow, right.

"She also said that the way he questioned her seemed... really unofficial. And he kept just saying 'we already know she was there.' I just thought... you'd want to hear it straight from her."

Of course it was Miller. Of course. There he was, sniffing around. Sticking his nose in. Making accusations.

Angelo had absolutely thought that Zora del Bosque was shady after their interview. He'd thought there was.... something.

Only now he suspected that what he'd been picking up on were her own nerves about the police. If she knew someone in the department was dirty, it went almost without saying that she would suspect the rest of the department as well. Only Broen vouching for him had helped bridge the gap, and it didn't take an expert to realize why he'd done that.

"Alright," Angelo said, glancing over to the recorder Roldan had left on the table. "We're going to record this from the top. The whole thing, start to finish, every detail. And then..." Angelo trailed off for a moment. "And then we'll go from there."

Celeste listened attentively to the blond officer speak, she had the feeling he must be in charge of things, feeling somewhat nervous, she glanced somewhat gratefully at Officer Roldan before beginning again.

"It was about 10 days ago, I was preparing my classes for the following day," she recounted calmly, "And Mr. Miller comes in and starts asking if I had noticed any changes if my niece, Zoraida. I told him I hadn't, only that she had new security detail. Though that's not too strange since my niece has often got personal security anyways... " Celeste said as she played with an old family ring on her hand nervously.

"Then he said she had been spotted at some warehouse with a man in red, and that she had been seen attacking it." Celeste said with concern as she looked at the blond officer, "I asked him if he was sure, and he assured me that the police knew she was there," she said worried as she looked to Officer Roldan and then back to Angelo, "By this time, I was feeling uncomfortable. And now, I noticed that you record things right? Like interviews?" she said as she looked at both men for confirmation, "because he didn't have a recorder with him..."

"I mean, we usually have some means of recording information when we interview suspects or victims, so that we have more than just the officer's memory to go on later. But we also..." Roldan looked at Angelo, trying to gauge his senior officer's body language. Was this del Bosque woman in trouble? Was Detective Miller? He couldn't say for sure, but his gut was leaning a very definite way.

"We usually conduct formal interviews here... at the station. A quick statement from a victim, sure we can grab that on the scene, but..."

New security detail meant Broen, and Angelo was snapping the pieces together in his head, even if they weren't all quite snapping together where they should have been.

"What did you tell him about the new security detail? Anything in particular?"

Angelo looked serious. Really serious. He was going to have to talk to Roldan later, but he had to finish up with Celeste first. Finish up with her. Take the tape. Talk to Roldan. A lot of things to do all in a row.
