Deacon raised an eyebrow and scratched his head again. "Hot as in.....ah...never mind." He shook his head and sat back down on the grass.

She shok her head, watching him. Then she closed her eyes, just laying there. She was not worried about him trying to hurt her. "Your weird."

While he sat there, he looked over to the girl who was laying down. She said that he is weird. What? She's one to talk. "I am really? At least I don't look like a corpse." he joked.

She shot up as fast as she was allowed. She intended to stopped with inchwes between their face, hand flat on his chest.

"You shouldnt say things like that, fire-eyes. It'd be a shame if I was tempermental, wouldnt you think?"

Voice took the tone of a hiss once again, and eyes were narrowed. She had no intentions of actually hurting him, least not then.

Deacon just stood where he was as she approached, her voice hissing again. As she placed her hand on his chest, he wanted to react, but didn't want to risk the possible setback of doing so. "Ever heard of a joke? 'Cuz that's what that was, a joke."

She thought for a moment, not moving from where she knelt. Nothing in her pose held a threatening gesture in it. Finally she answered and gave a shrug, pulling her face away from him.

"Dont hear enough jokes. Other vampires are too serious, they dont joke very much less they lost it awhile back."

She informed him and stood, moving away till she reached up and climbed into the tre again, going higher.

"The dead dont joke very much either."

As she moved away from him, Deacon approached the tree, the same one she climbed earlier and looked up to see her. It was clear to him now that vampires don't usually take many things lightly and realized that he should start watching what he says to a vampire from now on. "Is that so? Then....tell me; if you were somewhat offended, what would you do about it?" he asked out of curiousity.

She looked down at him, having found a limb that held her easily and more comfortably than others. Hearing his question made her think, absently scratching at an itch on her neck.

"Offended? Eh, depends. How offended I was. Usually I just get some sort of revenge. Luckily im not as hasty to get into a fight tonight. Much more fun to play with little school boys."

Deacon looked up at her and listened in on her response to his question. It seemed that she enjoying toying with people, especially school boys. Wait what? School boys? Deacon is one of them. Revenge? What the...? Thinking about it, he scratched the back of his neck wondering what 'play' meant in that case. "Interesting, and what exactly do you mean by......play?"
