The laughter that fell from the tree branch where she sat to his ears was not unkind. Just the kind you might expect from someone who knew a secret.

Deacon heard this and paused to think again. Just what did she mean by play? Who knows, but Deacon would stop at nothing to hopefully find out.

"Is that so...? Well, might I see for myself, then?"

She smiled, hearing him. He was curious, and maybe that would make him fun to play with. She'd find out at some point.

"Maybe, maybe not. All depends on everthing around us Fire-Eyes."

Perhaps she would consider him as her 'new toy' so to speak. If so, who knows what will happen. It was just like she said; it depends on the world around us. Looking over to her, he smiled back then went on with his playful banter.

"Maybe. It could be everything, or nothing at all. To me, well, it doesn't really matter. Like a predator hunting it's prey, you are., searching for toys to play with....sometimes....you just might get what you get want." he said with a wink.

She grined a toothy grin and pulled herself down a branch, keeping out of his reach though. His words were interesting, he might just be fun enough for her.

"A toy you say? Well, we'll have to find out how good a toy you make. Though I must ask out of curiousity, what is it you think I want?"

Deacon smiled back at the girl, refusing to take his eyes off her, watching her every move.

"How good of a toy I am, you may be wondering...."

He slowly drew himself closer to her. Looking into her differentially colored eyes, he answered her question.

"You want......me. You want to taste me, yet you insist to resist. How long can you resist...."

Raising an eyebrow at his words she gave an almost silent laugh. How coky this boy was! She hadnt seen one so full of themself in this way in quite awhile.

"To taste you, thats what any vampire could want, given the time and last time they fed.Besides, I do not think you'd want me to do such a thing Fire-Eyes."

She told him and before he could do or say anymore, shot back into the tree, almost invisible in the darkness. Watching below her she waited for his reply to her words.

That tree seemed to be her favorite hiding spot. As she rushed to the tree again, Deacon looked up at the tree to see if she was there. He couldn't see her, but he knew she had to be there.

"I'm coming to the conclusion that you are not of the ordinary....."

He yawned and stretched as he sat back down near the same tree, with his back laid against the trunk of it.

she didnt move from her spot, just watched him from the spot in the tree. She glanced up at the sky, keeping watch on the moons place in the sky.

"Not of the ordinary? Well you already know Im not human.."

Deacon looked away from the girl and looked straight at the abundance of grass around him while he laid back on the tree.

"Not of the ordinary, meaning, you are not like others of your own kind. Normally a vampire stalks it's prey and strikes when least expected. You on the other hand, are mostly serene...."
