"Woah, that was quick." He said, looking at his nails as he placed them close to his face. "Healthier huh?" He smiled, looking at the boy. "Well thank you." It felt like some type of bonding in between them, even though the whole thing had been a short process.

Moving back to his bed, he watched the boy, not wanting to ruin his nails. Keeping his hands on his knees, he pulled his knees up to his face again. "This is going to sound weird but can I touch your hair when my nails dry?" It was as if he had to do that with everyone he met, as if that was how he remembered someone.
