"Okay..." Karic says with little confidence. "Thanks I guess." He finished, pulling his legs up to his face again. "SO why did you get stuck with me?" He was acting rather cold, but it was because the boy was being a bit too.... Cheerful for his liking.

"Fate I guess..." he says kinda quietly, getting onto his laptop, biting lip as his eyes get watery. He click and scrolls, eventually putting his headphones on and listening to some music. "I'll shut up now"

"Mhm." Karic says quietly, as he relaxes himself into his current position. Opening his eyes to see that boy really had stopped talking, he sighed heavily, feeling a bit bad about how he had acted. Putting Athuma back in his bedside table drawer, he got up, looming over the boy's new bed. "What are you listening to?" He tried to sound cheerful, but it most likely sounded like he didn't care.

"Some really hipster stuff" he says, adjusting it to one headphone covering one ear and the other ear out to hear him. "Odesza, Briana Marela, Purity Ring. Stuff like that" he says choked up, looking around and trying to suck tears in.

"Oh I see." He said trying to sound as if he knew those people, which he didn't. He rarely got interested in anything other than Athuma, or the friends that he had made on the island. It was a if he felt that he had no time to have any real interests. "Are you okay?" The tone of the boy's voice sounded different than before, as if he was about to cry.

Blinking, it seemed that it had maybe just been his imagination, or the fact that maybe he didn't want to share what he was feeling with the boy, which he could understand. "Could I listen with you?" He asked politely.

Crawling onto the boys' bed, he sat looking at the feed, unsure of what to make of it. He listened to the music, closing his eyes slowly. "Nice."

"I saw an edit of one of my favorite anime couples, I know how nerdy of me, but I asked for this song and they told me. I've been addicted ever since" he says, biting his nails. He continues to scroll through his feed, clicking the reblog button on a few posts.
