As Irso bowed Huilu began to warn him about the cat, but it had already fallen at that point. With her supernatural speed Huilu went to catch the cat, but she could also see that the cat would be able to land on its feet. So in the end stopped mid-motion, and indeed the cat did land on its feet. The way it turned to seek recognition and praise from Irso was very lovable to Huilu's opinion, and it made her chuckle.
"Very well done, small one."
Huilu said, even if the cat did not care for her praise, and gave the cat the smallest applause with the tips of her fingers. There was a faint clacking sound, as Huilu's ice fingers hit each other.
Irso in turn gave Huilu a compliment back, and although it did touch her it also left her slightly sad, thinking that perhaps she would never find the right person to have children with. Huilu was an openminded individual, but the morals she had were stuck tight. And only having children with someone she truly loved was among those.
"In the end their intelligence matters to me not. My only wish is for them to be happy."
Those were perhaps the words you could hear from most parents' mouths, but they rang true. All a parent ever hoped was for their child to be happy, and Huilu was no different.
"Thank you for your words, Irso. I must say you have given me a lot to ponder tonight, and have bettered my night. I didn't imagine I'd be able to discuss topics such as these tonight."
