Appearance Description: Eiko has deep blue eyes, the color of the sea in wintertime, with a hint of green in them. Her skin is pale, with a very slight blue hue to it. Eiko's hair is shoulder length, a vivid blue color. with green/turquoise highlights. She lets her hair down most of the time, but once in a while, will tie it in a small ponytail. Being a water lamia, the easiest thing to compare her to is a small sea serpent, human from the waist up. Her snake tail is approximatively 6m long, with mostly turquoise scales and a white underbelly. Eiko is relatively small and slim in stature, and it is hard to mesure her height, since she doesn't have legs. Since she has a snake tail, she mostly wear skirts, to cover her waist. She likes vivid colors as much as pastels. Eiko doesn't care about fashion much, she just wears what she likes. When she goes swimming, Eiko mostly wears a green bikini top.
Personality Description: Eiko is very stubborn, and doesn't like to be bossed around. She sometimes make her own rules, which causes her trouble. She is not very good with talking and being nice to others, but does her best. She cares deeply, even if she would never admit it. Eiko is a good listener, and is good at giving advice. She gets excited very easily, and people who don't know her very much tend to find her weird. She pretends not to care about their opinion, but she is very self-concious. Even with all that, Eiko is great to be around, and a good friend when you don't get on her bad side, since she gets mad pretty easily.
Species Abilities: Eiko is a very good and fast swimmer, since she is a water specie. She can stay in water longer than your average human, but since she doesn't have gills, she needs to get out the water to breathe once in a while. She can swim for a few hours in a row, but needs to take pauses once in a while not to get too tired. Eiko also has the ability to communicate with certain water species, like fish and whales. Eiko can live on the land in a relatively normal way. She is able to move around, but her long tail sometimes make it more difficult. Eiko has to keep her body well hydrated to be able to live on land, and needs to swim in the sea at least once a month. If not, she can get very sick and weak, because her body isn't able to live that way.
Powers: Eiko has a special power that lets her move and manipulate small bodies of water, like a glass of water, a pool, or a small portion of a bigger body of water, to a certain extent. She cannot move a whole lake or ocean around for exemple, but with a lot of energy, she could probably redirect a certain quantity of water (like a small river). She use this power in case of emergency (to defend or protect herself) and sometimes to play small pranks on people. She can, for exemple, create small waves or mini typhoons. The force of these depends on the energy that Eiko uses to create them. It would be impossible for her to create a typhoon big and strong enough to sink a large ship, but she could use small waves to redirect a medium sized boat in the direction of her choice (If she didn't wanted to be seen swimming, for exemple). This power is very draining for Eiko, and uses a lot of energy, so she is always careful when using it.
Biography: Eiko was found on a beach by a young woman, on a chilly summer night. No note, only the name of the baby written on her arm: "Eiko Kana". She was just a baby at the time, but it was evident that something was special about her (I mean, she had a tail, even at that age). The woman decided to keep Eiko and take care of her, as the best of her capacities. Eiko and her mom lived in a very secluded place, so Eiko never really had the chance to have social interactions. Her mom was too scared that someone would try to hurt her, because of her "condition". Despite all of that, Eiko was very happy where she was. Sure, she wondered a lot about where she came from, if someone else was like her.. She had done a lot of research with her mom, to understand what she was. Still, so many questions were unanswered! When Eiko was given the opportunity to come to Starlight Academy, she immediately did, with her mom's consentement.
Additional Information: Eiko suffers from an anxiety disorder, wich she manages to control most of the time (Note: This is solely based on my own experience with anxiety disorders)
