Marine's eyes opened the second the oxygen mask was taken off, though not very wide. The first she saw was Marius. He kissed her. Then the oxygen mask was replaced.
She felt some thing pulling at her left shoulder. She felt dizzy a moment as her eyes went from black to a deep, cool blue. The heart rate thing showed that her heart was beating normally. She shook her head, because it was itchy. ((I'm going to get creativly weird now Oo)) It was itchy because ash was in it. She lifted a hand and brushed some out, leaving a streak of brown among the black.
Her curse was gone. She was, well, herself again. She looked at Marius, her big blue eyes asking him what had happened.

Marius just blinked, completely confused. He saw her eyes change colors, and wondered what had happened. Was she getting better, or getting worse? Had he just done something wrong? He swallowed nervously and looked around again before looking back to her. She looked a lot better and tons healthier than she had before... at least, to him she did.

"I have no idea..." he said in response to the question in her eyes. "Are you feeling better? Worse?"

Marine shook her head and said something. The mask muffled it, so she took it off and repeated what she said.
"I... I don't know... Maybe..."
She quickly pulled her sleeve down a bit and revealed her shoulder. Nothing was there. She looked up at him and stood up, but since she hadn't stood for awhile, her legs feel beneath her, and she started to fall forward.

Upon seeing nothing on her shoulder, Marius's eyes widened once again, but he smiled widely. She was cured... the mark was gone! Oh, wow, he had actually done something good! He had done what those doctors couldn't! At least, he thought so. Maybe he had magical kissing powers.

As she stood and started falling, the young man quickly moved his arms and caught her. "Are you sure you're ready to be walking?" he asked her quietly. "I don't want you to hurt yourself..."

Marine smiled and looked up at him.
"If your suggesting I stay in bed more, I don't think that will help."
She said with a smile, a very big smile. It had been a very long time since she did that. She righted herself and hugged him before she let go and took a few steps, not falling this time. She shook her head violently, making all the ash fall out, leaving her long, brown hair flowing in curls down her back.

((I tried to make her sound as pretty as she looks ^^))

A smile? That was the first time Marius had seen her smile, and honestly, she was just plain gorgeous. Even before when her appearance had been dark, she had been quite beautiful. Not like something as trivial as her looks mattered to him. She was a wonderful person, and maybe now that the curse was broken she could be happy. That was all he had ever wanted, really — for her to be happy.

As she hugged him, the boy blushed slightly, but returned the hug and watched as she started walking. The seventeen year old smiled when he saw that she didn't fall. "I can't believe it..." he said quietly. "You're really better. And those stupid doctors said otherwise." He shook his head, locks of auburn hair falling into his eyes.

"Anything you want to do now that you're better?" he asked. He would take her anywhere she wanted to go. For the moment, he had forgotten about telling Adelina of Marine's sudden, miraculous recovery, but he didn't much care.

Marine shrugged.
"I really don't know. I guess I should head back to my dorm. These clothes are a little to... Dark and blank. Y'know?"
She looked down at her clothes. Yuck. She looked back up at him.
"I still have the icky black stuff in my hair, too!"
She ran a hand through her hair, loosening more ash. She thought a moment to what he said.
"I guess that everything that was happening was because of my curse... I don't think anything else had to do with it."

"I really don't know. I guess I should head back to my dorm. These clothes are a little to... Dark and blank. Y'know?"

WOW. She had really changed! Marius nodded. "I do suppose so," he said with a smile. "You need color. Hehe." He often wore black or other dark colors himself, but he had no problem with other colors.

"I still have the icky black stuff in my hair, too!"

"It'll come out in time, I'm sure," he told her. "Just wash your hair or something. That'll work."

"I guess that everything that was happening was because of my curse... I don't think anything else had to do with it."

Marius was about to reply when Adelina burst into the room. "Marine?" the mother blinked, then smiled widely, running at the other female and wrapping her arms around her tightly. "You're alive!! I'm so happy you're alive!!" she said.

Marine smiled agian.
"He-ya Addie. If I remember correctly, you have a couple of kids, and I wanna see him. Eh heh heh... After I change and wash my hair."
She blinked her big eyes and watched Addie and Marius.

Adelina nodded, smiling brightly. "Yeah, of course! Aly and Alex. They're adorable!! You HAVE to meet them, Marine!!" she let go of her friend, and let out a breath of relief. She was really happy Marine was alive. Aly and Alex would never be alone if something happened to her, with all the friends she and Andrew had.

Marius smiled, but said nothing, letting Marine and Adelina have their time together.
