Merlot blinked, realizing what she said out loud, much to her chagrin as Chardonnay picked up on her sister's rare slip of the tongue.

"O-oh... well wouldn't you like to know." spoke Merlot as she tried to hide it behind an innocent smile.

"Ha... well if you REALLY want to know-" began Chardonnay

"Donny! No!" protested Merlot but it was too late as Char continued to speak without consideration.

"We may have really upset an employer on not delivering a package as requested. Things happened, got into scuffle and then we ended up here."

Adryan looked between the two as Merlot voiced her objection to Chardonnay about telling him. He couldn't help but grin at the exchange and listened intently as Chardonnay told him about the delivery gone awry. He shook his head and tsk tsk'd them.

"Shame shame. You should always make good on your agreements."

He slipped just in front of them, taking his eyes off the two briefly, before settling into the other side by Merlot. His stride never broke and the motion seemed smooth and well calculated, as if he were being very deliberate in what he did.

"Just because we are thieves, doesn't mean we can't be honorable."

"There was... more to it than how my sister bluntly stated it. Once we learned what the package actually we... " Merlot just shock her head, no matter what righteous intension she claimed deep down it was a selfish decision on both their parts "... well... I suppose it does not matter now. What was done is done. Think of us what you will but I know our honor is intact even if no one else believes it."

"Yeah... I mean we both not good people but... hey I like to think we did one right thing there. Even if everything went up in flames and left us as total failures in the end." huffed Char. The two siblings pauses mid-slither, appearing to space out as they both reflect on some past incident and half forget Tyler's presence at the moment.

Adryan noticed the pause and deliberate way Merlot spoke. When Chardonnay spoke up in agreeance, Adryan knew it was something more serious to both of them. Their pause it movement meant he had to stop as well, and he turned to face them, giving them the moment to collect themselves before speaking up again.

"Remember, I'm not one for belief in good and bad. One can only do what they think is best and it sounds like you may have done just that."

He knew the feeling. There were plenty of times he had been conflicted on jobs that he had gotten. They had their reasoning and it was theirs alone. He pulled out his charming smile once more hoping to reassure the pair.

"Besides, one decision doesn't define who you are, even if it seems enough to condemn you."

"As you clearly stated beforehand." spoke Merlot, Tyler's charm did little but garner an indifferent shrug from Merlot "I don't regret the decision that was made. Only regret how it turned out."

"Ahh well... we'll survive. It's what we are good at apparently." remarked Chardonnay whom then gives Tyler a toothy grin "I'm sure you understand. Now... me and sis were on our way home but what about you? You got places to be?"

Adryan looked over to Chardonnay and kept his smile up when he saw her toothy grin aimed at him. Tossing out a subtle wink he stepped slightly more out of bv their way.

"I always have places to be. Just also happens to be wherever I wanna go."

Adryan crossed his arms across his chest and turned to fully face the pair, waiting to see what they were going to do.

"I won't hold you two lovely ladies up any longer. Unless, of course, you would like the company on your walk back. Though I would understand if not. Privacy is valuable."

"Place to be huh? Would they happen to be at my place?" Char then curls her lips, before being rudely reminded by her sister "Ah-hem... our place?"

"Uhh... yeah right." sheepishly replied Chardonnay with an innocent smile to which Merlot rolled her eyes at.

"Well whether you wish to accompany us is up to you. Our path is already set while yours... well happens to be wherever you want to go." spoke Merlot as the twins then turn a corner on their way. As they begin to slither down gloomily lit path they whisper to each other in Croatian.

"Hoće li nas slijediti?" [Translation: Will they follow us?] asked Char to which Merlot answered "Kladi se na moju ogrlicu." [Translation: Bet on my necklace.]

Merlot then holds up the pendant still on her neck to her sister, causing Char to snort a laugh.

Adryan let out a small chuckle at the playful offer from Chardonnay and the reply from Merlot. They really were a pair, and Adryan had been enjoying his time with them. Keeping the small offer in mind, Adryan watched them slip away and overheard the language he didn't know until Nux translated for him.

"You're gonna do it aren't you?" Nux asked inside Adryan's mind. Without replying, Adryan took a couple strides to catch back up to them. "Guess that answers that." Nux already knew he was going to have to start translating for Adryan without him even asking.

"Idem slijediti, ali možeš zadržati ogrlicu." [Translation: I'm going to follow, but you can keep the necklace.]

The Croatian came out natural and with an almost perfect accent. Just a small perk that Nux offered by being able to fit into cultural surroundings. Hoping the words caught them by surprise, no matter how small, he shot out a wink aimed at Merlot, still trying to win her over.

Tyler chasing after them was somewhat expected by the two them. What was a unexpected was him speaking fluent Croatian. The twins looked to each at first, at first surprised but looked back to Tyler looking somewhat pleased by this development.

"Pa nije li ovo iznenađenje?" [Translation:
So isn’t this a surprise?] remarked Merlot, returning the wink with a slight smile.

"Zanima me koja još iznenađenja imate za nas?"
[Translation: I wonder what other surprises you have for us?] brought up Chardonnay with wide grin.

Adryan brought out the charming smile once again and looked between the two. He got the reaction he was hoping for, and getting it twice was even better.

"I'm full of surprises. But you should never let anyone see all of them too soon."

His voice remained cool and confident as he locked pace with them and continued along. He honestly didn't know where this was going but they were too fun to let go just yet.

"Sigurna sam da vas dvoje imate puno vlastitih iznenađenja." [I am sure you two have plenty of surprises of your own]

Again the accent was flawless and natural. He could have been mistaken for speaking the language most of his life.
