Even on a magical island full of oddities and freaks, the twins still seem to attract curious gazes with their presence. But the twins were used to the gawking as the slithered through the city's seedier underbelly. But given that lax immigration process and penchant for bringing in criminals like themselves, places like this were bound to spring up in paradise.
"Ah cold stone walls, mildew growing along cracks seeping with water, and that scent of rot lingering in the stagnate air? Reminds you of home right?" suggested Char as the twins make their way down the street way
"If by home you mean a dank cave... then yes... except shorebirds and silverfish we have discrepant..." grumbled Merlot as she pointed out to a couple of non-descriptive hooded figures.
"Yeah suppose its bit a more crowded here. But nothing that a bit of murder and genocide can't fix right?" joked Chardonnay whom's eyes catch the glimmer of gold being peddled away by some lankly man. While Merlot was busy scoffing at the city's degenerates, Char helped herself to quick slight of hand to snatch a golden necklace with one of her hands when she was sure no one was looking.
"Hmph yeah so long as we are not the one's instigating it. Its remarkable this society can hold itself together considering how different everyone is." remarked Merlot, looking to her sister just in time to see a new necklace that she was 100% certain was not adoring her sibling neck earlier.
Merlot gave her sister a disapproving glare but said nothing of it so to avoid attracting attention. Chardonnay seemed proud herself.
