Danni rolled her eyes and gave Addie a look that said Give me a break...oh my gosh. She put her hands on her hips. "Uh, hello because you do!" She tossed her hair and turned back to October.

Adelina's eyes narrowed. "I don't believe I ever told you that," she said. "It's best not to assume things, you know. I told you that I didn't like your brother... how many times? And yet you still think I do. So what the heck is your problem?"

October bit her lip, hoping that the two older female's could solve this on their own. She didn't want to get involved in this, she honestly didn't. But if it got too out of hand, she knew that she would have to.

Danni whirled around. "Obviously I'm not the one with the problem. YOU'RE the one that's too afraid to admit that she's actually HUMAN and actually has feelings for someone." She pat out. She felt like acting like a three year old and punching Addie.

Adelina rolled her eyes. "Oh, well, forgive ME if I didn't want to get hurt," she said. "Not that I like him anyway, but if I did, what was I supposed to do? Just go up to him and say 'I like you', and know that I was going to be rejected? Now you tell me what kind of sense THAT makes, Danni." She didn't believe either of them when they told her that Andrew liked her. Why should she? If he liked her, then he should have told her, not have one of them tell her.

October just looked at the two of them. She knew that getting hurt was kind of a touchy subject for her sister, and that she always thought the worst would happen in a situation. She didn't open her mouth just yet, though.

Dani raised her eyebrows. "Okay, look, Brilliant. My brother has a Huuuuugggeee crush on you." Dani drew out the word huge until she ran out of air. "He would not reject you. My gosh! He KISSED you, for goodness sakes. Why are you so afraid that you're going to get hurt?"

"Then why hasn't HE told me about this 'huge crush', hm?" Adelina asked. "He's afraid of rejection too, then, if he hasn't said anything. So why is it always me that has to admit it to themselves? Why don't you go bother your brother for once and tell HIM to tell me? Because, honestly; I'm not going to believe it if it comes from anyone's mouth unless it's his."

"... Why are you so afraid that you're going to get hurt?"

She was silent for a moment. She iddn't know how exactly to answer that without revealing her past, but whatever. Danni needed to get this through her head. "Well, you know what, maybe when YOU'VE lost someone important to you, you'll be afraid of getting hurt too." Ever since her parents died — and October almost died — Adelina had been having trouble admitting she cared about people and didn't like letting anyone close. She just didn't want to lose anyone else was all, really.

"HELLO?! Wake up and smell the coffee brewing. You've been treating Andrew like trash. I'm amazed he still likes you. He hasn't asked you out, because you pretty much act like you hate his guts." Dani argued.

"Well, you know what, maybe when YOU'VE lost someone important to you, you'll be afraid of getting hurt too."

Dani stopped, but only for a moment, though tears stung her eyes. She was okay, as long as people didn't remind her of her parents."And what makes you think I haven't, Barbie?"

"Oh, tell me something I don't know!" Adelina yelled. "You think I don't know the way I treat him?! Idiot! I know I'm mean, and quite honestly, I'm amazed that he supposedly likes me too!" She sighed. "And so what if I act that way?! Maybe I do it for an actual REASON." She shook her head, muttering the word 'idiot' again under her breath.

She smirked in a sort of twisted satisfaction when she saw the tears in Danni's eyes. "Aw, did I hit a sore spot, Danni?" she asked in an innocent tone of voice, pretending she cared, but obviously not. "Too bad. Get over it. Crying doesn't solve anything, and it doesn't change anything either."

She narrowed her eyes when she was called 'Barbie'. "Let's think about this. You don't seem to be too afraid of getting hurt, for one thing. But then again, you only seem that way. How would I know how you act? I'm not your friend, you're not mine, after all."

Danni's eyes narrowed. "Yeah, like what? 'Cause you're a selfish brat that cares NOTHING about other peoples feelings?" She refrained from cursing-even in her mind.

Danni's jaw dropped and she blinked slowly. "Oh.No.You.Did.Not. You are going down. Now now. But when you least expect it, you ARE going down."

"No, I actually am what I seem. Instead of pretending to be tough, when you're weally just scawed of getting hurt." Danni said with a childish lisp, nodding as she spoke.

The sixteen-year-old crossed her arms over her chest. "That's not the reason, and again I'll say it; IDIOT." Adelina rolled her eyes. "And besides, you have no reason to know the reason I act this way. Like I said, you're not my friend. If you want to know it so badly, ask little October."

"Don't get me involved in this," October said softly, doubting that either of them would hear it but not caring. She would have left, but she had to make sure that things didn't get violent between the two. She didn't want either one of them going too far.

Adelina ignored her sister, and her smirk widened when she saw Danni's reaction. "Oh, really? I'm going down? Are you sure about that? What makes you so sure?" Her smirk widened even more. She had just loved her reaction to that.

October swallowed, hoping that they weren't beginning to threaten each other now.

Eyes narrowed again. "You seem to have a lisp there, Danni. Might want to get that fixed." She rolled her eyes again. "Oh, I'm not pretending to be tough, Danni. So maybe I'm scared of getting hurt, but that doesn't mean I'm just acting."
