Don't make me fall in love

So the feeling was mutual. Good. The heat of the moment was starting to get to the both of them, and it wasn’t just the warm bodies crowding the dance floor that was responsible for such. He chuckled a bit, his hand moving to hold his side carefully. "Well.. Don’t be. There’s nothing to be afraid of." He promised in implication, his softer tone indicating his sincerity. After all, he was part angel. He wouldn’t deceive or hurt anybody because of that fact. That, and he really just didn’t want the stranger to leave.

Despite the alcohol on each other’s breath, Jericho couldn’t bother to mind their proximity to one another. The fact that their lips were mere inches away stunned him from worrying about anything else. His breathing became slightly shaky. This was it. Were they going to do it?

Before he could utter a single syllable, he found that his lips were overtaken by that of the stranger before him. His eyes went wide, before the vivid grey-green in them practically melted as he slowly closed his eyelids. Savoring the warmth. The moment. The fragment of time where everything stood still, before going into fast forward once his tender affection left his grasp. Slowly, Jericho opened his eyes. A sweetness, an arousal, a spark in them that hadn’t been there before was present now.

Oh, how he craved more.

"..Even better than I imagined.." He whispered, barely loud enough for anyone to hear. He backed a few inches back, just to look over the stranger's face. That moment had necessitated so much courage. If he were to progress, he’d need another little push in that respect.
He eyed the bar.

"You really are a natural. You left me wanting more..~" He hummed a bit, before gesturing his head to the bar. "Let’s say we crank it up a notch, hm?"

A soft hum emanated from him as he practically buzzed with joy and liquor. Though initially it was the sultry stranger that had ensnared the nephilim, it seemed that jericho was taking the reigns himself. Good, because this little encounter was going the exact direction he wanted.

With the confidence of the kiss still fresh on his mind and lips, he felt he could take on the world… and the entire bar. So when he sat down with the stranger next to him… He was certainly ready.

However, it appeared that the stranger went hard

Jericho was no lightweight by any stretch of the term. But even this, on top of what he had earlier, was a bit much. Not a problem, he supposed. He was ready to take some risks tonight, and was consenting to wherever this route took him.

"Enough? This’ll be nothing." He grabbed the first tiny glass, holding it up in front of him as he gave the other a sly grin. "It’ll be a good warm up, though."

He took the starting position of hovering it not too far from his lips. "Ready?" He muttered. "One, two..."

The shot of what felt like fire nearly bypassed his throat before Jericho threw down his glass against the counter. The buzzing grew in his mind grew stronger, to which he ignored. His grin grew a bit wider. The more he drank, the longer he stayed around this beautiful stranger, the more he wanted.

This club wasn’t intimate enough for him.

His mind being drowned with vodka, he looked the other man up and down. It was clear what they had both wanted, but they were in no way going to receive it here. His hand shakily grasped the second glass that was offered to him. The words the other was saying began to jumble themselves around his head. He got the jist of what he said last, though.

"I’m gonna… Have to agree..." He giggled, before looking up at him with a spark in his grey-green eyes. "How about… We take this elsewhere..?" Though with the next part, there was some worry in his voice. He still was thinking logically, after all. "Campus is… A bit too far away, though..."

His mind was set, and so was his heart. He was buzzed, but not overtly intoxicated. Granted, his inhibitions were a bit dodgy and his judgement fueled by newly found ego. But they had both wanted this, they both craved something else.

He wrapped his warm hand around his and followed him through the club. Giddy, on a high of adrenaline that would fuel him for the next hour or two. He ran out the front door with him, looking around for options. Being that they were on the strip, a place to finish the deed was undoubtedly nearby. And wouldn’t you have it? There was a neon-lit motel just down and across the street.

"I think I have an idea. Let’s go, handsome~"

A migraine pounded against the skull of the nephilim buried under cheap white sheets. A groan emanated from him, as the sun’s warmth outside the motel window cast its beam across his face. His grey-green eyes slowly opened, blinking a few times to adjust to the morning light.

What… Happened?

The newfound hangover obscured most of his memory as he desperately attempted to scrape together last night’s events. He wasn’t in his dorm bed. He was in the motel he drunkenly reserved a night for. He turned his head to the side. The old digital clock on the bedside table read ‘8:30’. He looked back down to the bed. Under the sheets, he was stark naked.

It all came back. The mysterious stranger and himself were a bit too brave in their endeavors. Miraculously, he hadn’t left yet, as he still lay beside him. Now that the night was over, he only had one question-

Where was he to go from here?

With Jericho’s awakening, the other soon followed. He too had been blinded by the sun, but that didn’t stop him from picking up from where they left off before passing out. He felt his warm hand run down his back, between the wings that managed to get feathers everywhere. He ruffled them, before turning his body to look at the face of the stranger. Without the neon lights, without the previous darkness of their room… He really was beautiful.

He was crushing for this boy all over again.

But even with the kiss, even with his tender touch… The fantasy had to come crashing down at some point. Jericho sat up, looking at him in faint disappointment. His wings even drooped a bit, but he tried to keep himself together. Play it cool. "Aw, already? Well, I guess I won’t stop you…" But he wanted to. He really, really wanted to… His façade cracked, if for a bit. "I-I.."

"Wait."

He stood up to quickly fumble in order to get himself somewhat dressed. Not like it mattered, the stranger had seen everything already. "You know, I didn’t even get your name." Maybe that was the point of this anonymous hookup. That didn’t stop Jericho. "I’m Jericho. Jericho O’Malley." He smirked. "Who can I call the guy who gave me such a damn good night?"​
