She imagined that if he did crazy stupid things like burning his own face to show off to people that he got more pity than he probably wanted. Or maybe he did secretly want it.. But that wasn't her place to speculate.

She shrugged. "Better than being bored all the time. A mortals life is rather pathetic."

"I'll go with Red." She said as she reached for another pen from her bag.

"Im not going to lie but i somewhat agree with you, but that doesn't mean you cant make it into a beautiful thing, there are more things that you can do to make your life less boring then drugs, you seem like a very lovely talented woman so don't throw that talent away friend". He said lighting each of his fingers on fire one by one and then putting them out for fun.

"Besides i think your pretty awesome considering what you did for me back there and i'm glad i could get your face a bit red back there" He said having his big smile returned to his face.

She sighed. "Your assuming a lot about my values. I have very few goals when it comes to my existence and none of them would be helped much by sobriety."

Live's features blushed again as he reminded her that his flirting had gotten to her before. "Yeah whatever." She opened a drawer in her dresser and pulled out a bottle of beer. She used her power over shadows to pop the top off. "You want one?" She asked looking at the boy. Beer probably wasn't the best thing for someone with brain damage but she doubted he would drink it anyways.

"what ever floats your boat missy, but you don't seem very lively considering you name, but what ever ill respect your choices" He said looking down at his hands.

He would look at her red face again "aww don't kill me for this but i find you quite cute" He said trying not to make her angry judging by the way she acted. " Im 16 i don't drink and don't plan on drinking anytime soon, even if i wanted to it tastes pretty bad probably....". He said as he watched her pop open the beer.

She paused, looking at him. "My name means more than you realize so watch your words." The fact that she was even sitting in this room at that moment spoke more about her will to live than he would ever know..

She chuckled, a smirk playing across her features, "You have brain damage." She knew she was relatively attractive but it wasn't something she really spent much time thinking about. Her personality was usually a pretty big turn off for people anyways.

She shrugged, "Tastes like beer." She said taking a swig.

This kid was something. If they had met under different circumstances she would have never given him the time of day but here he was, in her room. He was even kind of hitting on her and she wasn't punching him in the face. He had no idea how lucky he was.

"Sure." She said brushing off his words as she turned on the lamp on her desk. She used the shadows to turn off the overhead light. "If you can manage to sleep, I'd suggest it. Your head needs time to recuperate."

"ok i wont disturb you with my stupid talk any longer". He said as he removed his sweater and lay it beside him. He was rather skinny and had a long grey t-shirt on but he still looked pretty decent for his age.

His voice would then shift into a serious tone." Im sorry for all the remarks and comments, i have problems and don't know how to act around people and even if you are just doing this out of pity..... thanks for putting up with me as where others would have left me in the dirt". He said as he turned away from her on the bed.

Live was silent for a minute after he spoke. She wasn't going to say anything else but the silence became too much and she finally spoke up.

"You're not the one who doesn't know how to act around people. If you were with anyone else, they probably would have found you funny and decent company. Unfortunately for you, you're in the room of someone who literally hates everyone and has no sense of humor."

"does that mean you hate me?". He said kind of regretting asking the question as he practically already knew the answer. He really wanted to help her some how but he knew how it would turn out and that was unsettling to him because he always liked to bring out the best in others.

".... sorry about everything then..." He said followed after nervous laughing and smacking him self.
