Dani sobered. "Yes it is. But all good things come to an end, and in the end they equal out and a new kind of life is born." she spoke sadly and in an off tone, as if she was somewhere else inside her head. She snapped out of it. "Oh, wait, was I babbling on again? I'm sorry." She reached for a make-believe slurpie, but found it wasn't there. She pouted and stood up to get another.

As she got out of her seat for another slurpie, Cade stood where he was, reflecting on the possibilities of the school taking a turn for the worse, which were high. He gazed out the window lifelessly. What was to become of the students and the school? He didn't know, but everyone, not only him, was sure to find out soon enough. What was he to do!?

Dani returned with a rather large slushie and spoke lowly. "Some of the students may be evacuating soon. I'm going to leave before the battle, and I'm asking you to either pick a side, the god one hopefully, or get yourself out. I'm renting an apartment in the city; and worse come to worse, leave the island entirely." Dani glanced at him. "I don't like seeing meaningless death. And I hope you don't either."

"If only there was another way..." In which there probably wasn't, this would have to take some time to debate with oneself. What was Cade to do!? He didn't know. He continued to gaze out the window, not even bothering to look back at Dani, but he heard her. Should he leave the island, he had nowhere else to stay. Should he fight, maybe his powers could be of use. He didn't know. "I don't know..."

"I think we all wish there was a backdoor, or a shortcut." she shook her take. "War is big. It takes two two make a crowd." She took another long sip of her slurpie and sat down and leaned back in her seat. "Just don't get hurt." Dani grinned. "I'd hate to have to send my uber putty of glory to come rescue you." She laughed.
