He thought about what she said, "yea I guess I do." He grinned, "I used to hate them, they were so unstable, felt almost like a burden." He held out his hand and formed a tiny flame in his palm, "now they feel like a part of me, like a natural extension of me."

He closed his hand extinguishing the flane, "I used to accidentally set things on fire," he chuckled, "it was a mess."

He smiled, "thank you, but I'm ok." He tenderly touched his head, "we dragons are tough." Then his mind went to the reason he came out here, "I came out to try and clear my mind, distract it."

It felt nice, talking to someone with so much pride in their powers. Faye thought it must have been hard for him when he was still practicing his elements. Having the thought of him setting things on fire was a funny thought. But luckily he was alright now, and Faye felt happy for him that he found the strength to accept his powers. "I'm glad that you learned to love your powers, setting things on fire accidently must have been a struggle" Faye giggled, covering her mouth with her hand and squeezing her eyes shut.

Faye couldn't help it, but she always caught herself smiling when Theron was around. She didn't have a normal conversation like this in a long time, which made Faye glad she met him. She was glad that she came up to him in the first place, and glad that he welcomed her. Because now, Faye felt more confident around him than the beginning of their meeting. She found herself not feeling nervous or speaking softly, and instead, felt friendly and became more open. Maybe this was meant to be.

"Well, I'm glad I could be part of your distraction Theron." Faye smiled and let out a small laugh, blushing from ear to ear. It was getting late, the sun was painting it's last colors and the stars started fading into the scene as the air got colder. Faye would have been in her dorm by then, sleeping her worries away. But she rather wanted to stay with Theron; rather wanted to be two teenagers sitting on a fallen tree under the stars.

"Thank you for your company tonight." Faye didn't remember how long they stayed out in the woods, but she knew every second was worth it.
