<div align=center>"Well, I guess I hafta since your polite." It wasn't like he didn't do stuff he wasn't supposed to do before. He nodded at Bill's request, pulling a sheet of paper from the desk. These passes were for emergencies, but if it meant a kid would be safe and in one place that counted as an emergency for him. The teacher filled out the pass quickly, scribbling down information before handing it to the young man. "Here. I'll email your teachers if I hafta if they have concerns." He smiled, going back to lean in his chair. The relaxed atmosphere it seemed died down soon at the further mention at funerals.
Realizing later than he should have that this may be a touchy subject for Bill, Leeroy bit his lip as he tried to figure out the best course of telling him. After all, he almost had to go to one if Gabe wasn't mysteriously resurrected. But even without that there still seemed to be a trail of death going around this year... And in recalling that teacher meeting that only became more apparent. "I ain't allowed ta say much, ta tell ya the truth..." Leeroy began in a bit of a reluctant grumble on his behalf. "Kids have just been droppin like flies this year cuz of accidents and such. Things get out of hand, someone gets hurt or they end up dead. It happened ta three... Four students this year..?" He shrugged. "I've been here for over a decade and if ma memory doesn't fail me I'd say that's a record... A tragic one, but still." Though he didn't want to mention names, he was sure Bill could find out whatever else he wanted by spread rumors. People in this school talked, and if one students hurt another or themselves it spread like wildfire. Maybe it was good though that he didn't seem to know. He didn't want the guy to be both sick and sad at the same time.
"I doubt the sickness itself is fatal. Flus come'n go here all the time. It's the side effects I'm concerned 'bout." The side note however was detracted as he looked back at Bill, the weary older man hoping he had and is being somewhat of a help. "Anythin else I can help ya with? No rush, cause ain't nobody seemin like they're gonna be outta their dorms more than they hafta. Ain't even gonna visit me. Shame."</div>
