<div align=center>"Well, I guess I hafta since your polite." It wasn't like he didn't do stuff he wasn't supposed to do before. He nodded at Bill's request, pulling a sheet of paper from the desk. These passes were for emergencies, but if it meant a kid would be safe and in one place that counted as an emergency for him. The teacher filled out the pass quickly, scribbling down information before handing it to the young man. "Here. I'll email your teachers if I hafta if they have concerns." He smiled, going back to lean in his chair. The relaxed atmosphere it seemed died down soon at the further mention at funerals.

Realizing later than he should have that this may be a touchy subject for Bill, Leeroy bit his lip as he tried to figure out the best course of telling him. After all, he almost had to go to one if Gabe wasn't mysteriously resurrected. But even without that there still seemed to be a trail of death going around this year... And in recalling that teacher meeting that only became more apparent. "I ain't allowed ta say much, ta tell ya the truth..." Leeroy began in a bit of a reluctant grumble on his behalf. "Kids have just been droppin like flies this year cuz of accidents and such. Things get out of hand, someone gets hurt or they end up dead. It happened ta three... Four students this year..?" He shrugged. "I've been here for over a decade and if ma memory doesn't fail me I'd say that's a record... A tragic one, but still." Though he didn't want to mention names, he was sure Bill could find out whatever else he wanted by spread rumors. People in this school talked, and if one students hurt another or themselves it spread like wildfire. Maybe it was good though that he didn't seem to know. He didn't want the guy to be both sick and sad at the same time.

"I doubt the sickness itself is fatal. Flus come'n go here all the time. It's the side effects I'm concerned 'bout." The side note however was detracted as he looked back at Bill, the weary older man hoping he had and is being somewhat of a help. "Anythin else I can help ya with? No rush, cause ain't nobody seemin like they're gonna be outta their dorms more than they hafta. Ain't even gonna visit me. Shame."</div>

<div align=center>Snatching up the note, William gratefully thanked the man. At least he wouldn't have any mishaps if he wasn't around any of his classmates. God knew what would happen if his powers messed up. He could already feel a headache coming on, a dull throbbing behind his eyes that made him want to curl up underneath a pillow for a few hours and go to sleep. He purred at being called polite, he was a people pleaser, despite being incredibly shy. William liked to know that he had a golden reputation. The thought of nasty rumors spreading about William made the boy awfully uneasy. He wasn't perfect, not by all means. But no one else had to know that.

I ain't allowed ta say much. Fair enough. William couldn't help being curious, though. He could always cheat and break into Leeroy's mind, but he wasn't that desperate to find out, and besides, with this odd illness he risked the chance of accidentally doing something bad to him. Whether he wanted to or not. "I guess no one wants to get sick," the boy frowned a little, it was far too late for him, so he might as well walk among the dying. I bet Gabriel won't even wanna touch me like this. His frown deepened, and suddenly he was all too aware that it might not have been only him that had heard that. He could feel the presence of Leeroy's mind well enough, but... "I... Did... I just...?"</div>

<div align=center>Despite his growing feeling of illness and discomfort he was glad to help, even if it was just by making the boy smile a bit. These times were rough, and already there was hostility going around as well as accusations. Who infected who, what species was responsible, etc. Though he fortunately hadn't had to break up fights yet, there was a strong possibility the cafeteria tomorrow wouldn't be the most peaceful of places.

"Good point." Leeroy admitted in a staggered cough, enough to rock his usual sturdy body. Really he was in no shape to try to prevent outbursts. All he could do was offer medicine and advice, both bring someone else's job. But sitting around like a sick baby at his own house wasn't his style. "Pardon me for bein all gross n sick right now. I shouldn't even be helpin, or at least others have reckoned me not to. But sittin around if borin. I ain't so used to bein in one place all the time, y'know." He almost sort of rambled absent-mindedly as he searched for some sort of tea or something to offer. Surely there had to be something..

"Dontcha worry son, Gabe's a good guy. I'm sure he'll help take care of ya or somethin." As soon as he reaffirmed him however it was made clear that it wasn't Bill's voice that stated the concern. Was it... "Huh?" He turned around from the drawer, looking at the student across of him. Clearly, it looked like Bill had experienced the same thing. Hopefully unintentional telepathy wasn't something that was a side effect to the virus. "Is it, uh... S'posed ta do that? I heard what you were thinkin and-" Wait a minute. Though not accusatory or even necessarily mad, the gym teacher raised his brow in suspicion. "You weren't snoopin around in here, were ya?" He asked, gesturing to his head. It was either he really wanted to learn the secret or his powers were starting to freak out. Either way he probably needed to have a talk with him. </div>

<div align=center>Gross and sick? William shook his head, frowning a little. "You should go to bed for a while. Can't the doctor handle this?" William knew the doctor, of course he did, he was clumsy enough and got sick enough that he was in the infirmary at least once a week. The man in there even knew his name by now. William whimpered and pressed a hand to his forehead, his headache was beginning to get worse and by now there was a dull ache behind his eyes that made him want to curl up in the darkest place he could find and go to sleep for a good few hours.

When asked if his powers were supposed to do that, the boy shook his head. No. They weren't. He could keep his voice out of other people's minds easy enough, usually, his normal problem was other people's voices inside his mind. But this was much worse. What if I don't have control over what goes in and what doesn't?! That was a scary thought. He could control his mouth but he sure as hell couldn't control what cropped up in his thoughts. He scowled when accused of snooping around, shaking his head again and squaring his chin. "No I was not!" He snapped. He was far too polite to snoop. He was offended it had even crossed Leeroy's mind.</div>
