Depressed and Alone

"She did it to safe your life," Maria hissed. Cordelia's heart had been in the right place, and the Headmistress knew it. No mother would stand by and watch as a child tried to throw their life away. "And you won't complete the job. I won't allow it and neither will Miss Brooks, not to mention Claira and a few others. So you'd better think twice, kid, because you aren't as high and mighty as you think you are."

"I see so you believe you can defeat something whose power is second only to Darci...."

"Even Darci can be defeated," Maria said with a small smirk on her face. "No one in this world is invincible. Hard to defeat? Maybe. But it's not impossible... and you need to learn that."

".... I will soon reach her power at the rate I am going changing the landscape into blood itself"

Kids these days... they thought they could just do whatever they wanted. Jira really needed to get his head out of the clouds and come back to reality, and the Headmistress was sure it would happen eventually. "No, you won't," she said, thinking nothing of that little demonstration of his. "Trust me, kiddo, there are more people out there that are stronger than you."

".... if you truly belive you can stop me from killing anyone then come at me, it has been a while since I have gotten the chance to fight."

Maria rolled her eyes. "I'm not going to fight you," she told him. She didn't fight unless someone came at her first, and she really didn't want to fight a child, of all people. "I don't have a reason to. Are you so cocky that you can't even listen to those you should respect?"

Maria just sighed at what he was doing. "Not going to work," she said. Another force-field went up, and although it would take a lot to keep two up at a time, the Headmistress had the mind to do it. The second one blocked the blood, and even went under the ground to block it from coming up. It was really pathetic that she had to fight this kid... but it looked like it was necessary for her to defend herself. The twenty-six year old wasn't scared of him at all, though.

Maria winced as the blood rammed at her force-field. Her eyes narrowed... she couldn't play the pacifist Headmistress anymore. If he wanted a fight, then fine, she could give it. The first shield she had put up went down, and in less than a second later the second one that the blood had rammed went flying out at him. It probably wouldn't be pleasant if that touched him, and now she had more room to breathe, as well as distance from him. The woman definitely wasn't going to let him win this.
