The sound of running footsteps could be heard on the leaves that fallen in autumn and newly growing grass as the young girl ran. She had bolted off into the trees the moment she had exited the school, and she didn't plan on slowing her pace until she got deeper into the forest. She had been the reason someone died... and the fresh air wasn't really helping her. The thirteen year old had refused to come out of her dorm room after Dani died and Alyeria got sick, since she had been the cause of it all.

October finally stopped running, even though she didn't want to. She went into a fit of coughing and leaned against a tree; her lungs weren't used to this much exercise. They still hadn't healed completely from that disease she had gotten a while back... and it only upset her more. That was why she hadn't seen Tsim in forever... and the last Adelina had told her, he had lost his mind. It was amazing how easily a dream could die.

Finally, the black haired girl walked a little bit further and sat down on a rock to catch her breath, tears streaming down from her violet eyes. The chains on her black pants rattled as she sat down, though she was too upset to really hear the sound. The thirteen year old pulled her legs underneath each other in the "pretzel style" and just sighed, closing her eyes as tears continued to fall.

Life could really just be a complete pain in the neck.

A similar smell came to the air, the scent was of blood and that usually meant Jira was around and most people would just get away from that area however as he saw the girl, he remembered her face... "October." He said plain explanation he knew who she was.

As soon as she smelled blood, the girl blinked. She had smelled it before, but she was just too exhausted to run or get away from the area. However, when she heard a male voice say her name, October turned her head and opened her eyes, looking at him. She wiped her eyes and sniffed up, staring at him for a moment, still trying to catch her breath. "What, Jira?" she asked. She hadn't seen him in months, and they had only met once before, but she didn't forget people easily. She waited, wondering what he wanted and why he was there.

"What are you doing out here?" He asked noticing her mood...prehaps...he could fix her in his own way...making her a vampire!...however he wanted to test her with verbalizaation for now

"What are you doing out here?"

October folded her arms over her chest, and was silent for a very long time. She was just trying to find all the words to answer that, and even though they were on the tip of her tongue, she just couldn't bring herself to say it. "Long story," she finally said, taking a shaky breath. Her breathing was still labored... she wished she had never gone to the mountains that day. "Let's just say everything had gone wrong and I needed to get away from it and just be by myself for a while."

She paused, then decided to return the question. "What about you?" she asked.

Jira shrugged. "Same here...." He said avoiding the fact that he Cordelia, a homeless girl and a girl with strange fans had now forced themselves into his lives

"Life sucks. Woo hoo." She lifted her index finger and twirled it around in the air as if to show enthusiasm, though the tears streaming down her face obviously showed she was being completely and utterly sarcastic. She opened her mouth to say something more, but as soon as she did so, she went into a coughing fit. She covered her mouth with her arm, though that didn't muffle to hacking, sick coughs that came from her. After a few moments, she stopped, and took a few deep breaths to calm herself down. "Sorry," she said quietly, finding that coughing like that had been slightly impolite.

October rubbed her forehead and sighed. "So how have you been in the past few months?" she asked.

A small smile was offered. "That's good. I'm glad that you've been ok." October said, and with that, wiped at her eyes. She wasn't going to cry anymore... for now. She absolutely refused to cry in front of him... she didn't want to seem weak, even though she was. "So, yeah. Anything interesting been happening to you?" Oh, if only she knew what had really been happening in his life.

"Nothing I really want to talk about." He said quickly...he never lied...but he had to learn to stop making people so darn curious all the time...he didn't really know he was
