Tomomi was going to the roof again, but this time she wasn't a cat. She didn't think it was going to be appropriate for this. Not when she had been following John's scent up here.
Tomomi had been trying to get to talk to John after the whole mess with the bit-, Yuna. Tomomi wasn't good with talking aside from arguing. But they couldn't let it sit and fester. Tomomi wanted to make herself clear to John, make it clear that she would fight for him, even if he didn't want it. That was Tomomi, and John would get it. She would make him get it if necessary.
Tomomi remembered the dead look in John's eyes, she knew it. She had had the same look, multiple times. And if the fact that John was a lab rat was the cause of it, well, Tomomi wanted to hear about it. For some reason she had really grown to like and care about John, she wanted to be there for him. Even when he was being an ass. And Tomomi didn't give a shit what John was. After all, she herself was a murderer. John couldn't be much worse.
Tomomi reached the door that lead to the roof, took a deep breath and stepped out onto the roof. And there was John, almost in the same exact spot from when they had been here the last time. He looked like the world's loneliest man. Tomomi let out a sigh and walked up to John, stopping a few meters behind him. She was in her fighting stance, legs wide, arms loose on her sides. But this was a different kind of fight, a kind of fight Tomomi had so very rarely.
"John?"
was all Tomomi said. Was all she needed to say for now. But if she needed to pry then she would.
