Shirigana scratched his head. "Ya did say that was your name. What do ya want me ta call ya?" He thought for a moment. "Fiona?" He asked, stepping into the elevator. "Because that's the fanciest name I can come up with on such short notice."
Fluffy blinked. She hadn't thought about what he could call her. Fiona was a name she hadnt heard much in her life, so she thought it would be hard to respond to a name she wasn't very familiar with. She thought a moment. "How about....Muffin?" It would sound like an endearment instead of a name.
Shirigana chuckled. "That'll do nicely." He answered. He pushed the button for the lobby. The elevator promptly ferried him and his friend to the ground floor. Shirigana walked briskly through the lobby to open the door. One of the employees whistled at Muffin before ducking behind a pillar to avoid being slapped for the fifth time that day. Shirigana shook his head at the man. This particular employee had a habit of whistling at everyone just to get a reaction.
Shirigana nodded. "I see. Fluffy Muffin." He noded once again before resuming. "The theater is close, just like the park." He explained. He walked as though he would go to the store, but turned to go down an alley. At the other end of the alley was the street the theater was on.
Fluffy was naturally used to walking down alleyways during the day and night, being as how she had grown up on the streets and spent many days and nights in alleys. But that didn't stop her from looking around in the shadows for any suspicious forms lurking there. "What other things do you have near your house?"
Shirigana shrugged. "Pretty much everything. A public pool, the beach isn't far..." He dug through his mind for more places of interest while lightheartedly walking through the alley.
Suddenly a form jumped out of the shadows and asked for their money. Having already spotted the man, Fluffy had her pocket knife out in an instant. "No way."
The man laughed maniacally and asked if she knew how to use it.
Fluffy's eyes narrowed and she shook her head. "In more ways than you know how." She knew this man's type. Acting all rough and tough but really not. He only wanted money to get drugs and get high.
The man made a move toward the girl and she easily made a tiny slice on his cheek. He backed away before leaving.
Shirigana clapped, grinning. "Bravely done! I don't see people like that around often." He pointed out, scratching his head. "Well, in any case, off to the movie!" Shirigana walked across the straight and through the parking lot to hold the door open for Muffin.
Fluffy nodded and after closing her knife, slipped it into her pocket and followed her friend. When she stepped into the theater, a cool blast of air hit her face. She smiled and got in the line for tickets.
