Shirigana hugged Fluffy, making sure he didn't crush or hurt them. "Are ya hungry?" He asked, grinning. "It's breakfast time." He knew by the locked door that mysteriously unlocked that something fishy was going on, and it wasn't the cat food.

Fluffy nodded and jumped out of his arms. She landed on her feet and immediately ran over to her bowls. She waited for him to get her new food and water.

Shirigana poured out Fluffy's milk, rinsed the bowl, and then filled it with a bottle of spring water. "There ya go." He scooped cat food into her bowl. With Fluffy's breakfast made, Shirigana whipped up two fried eggs and a slice of bacon. The face he made on the plate glared at him. Shirigana rubbed his eyes and looked again, only to find that it was probably his imagination. He walked past a mirror and stepped back to look again. Weren't his eyes red just a moment ago? He shrugged, sitting down in front of the TV to eat.

Fluffy ate her food quickly and drank some of the water. Paws wet from spilling some of the water on herself, the cat ran and jumped to a stop beside her friend.

A show came on about bipolar people. Shirigana instinctively changed the channel. A cartoon came one with a Jekyl-Hyde setup. Shirigana changed it again, bringing up a movie about a man trying to escape from a spacecraft. "This'll do." Shirigana said, relaxing in his chair and eating.

Fluffy wondered why he had changed the channel but didn't question him about it. Sh clawed her way up to the top of the recliner and stretched out.

Shirigana ate hungrily. It was a strange movie; The main character kept finding more strange devices to help him, and each served a valuable purpose. He focused on the TV.

Grinning, the cat put her paws in the man's hair, then rested her chin on her paws. "What's this?" She asked, meaning the TV.

"That's my hair." Shirigana answered, drinking down his orange juice. The main character took a sharp turn and kicked a hockey-puck looking device around the corner at the charging horde of extraterrestrials. It exploded, but he didn't look back. He just kept running.
