He smiled a bit, "I met every word Nikki." Jacob tried to always be honest, especially with the people he loved.

The young half demon tapped his chin, "you know, I was talking to a teacher, about my teleport power the other day," he looked at her, "he explained that a lot of forms of teleportation actually destroy the user, their body and everything and then sorta make a copy of their body on the other side."

He leaned over, getting a bit closer, "so, despite my body being destroyed every time I teleport, my soul, who I am always makes it through into the copy." His tail swayed, "so, if that's true, then it's not so hard to believe you're really that girl."

"Either way," he smiled, "I care about you Nikki, and intend to stick around if you can put up with me," he said with a chuckle.

She had seen enough Sci-fi to know the theory of particle destruction, and rebirth, or phoenix Theory as it had been called. In a way he made sense. Sure for that brief moment, he simply failed to exist, only to re-exist somewhere else micro-moments later. However while similar it was still very different. In this world, she didn't exist, or rather she didn't exist like this. She wasn't supposed to be here.

She let out a sigh as he continued on. His words were both bitter and sweet. She wondered if she even had a soul anymore if it had been tied to her old body and simply failed to exist when she came here. could she really be nothing more than 1's and 0's? Jacob didn't seem to think so. Listening to him speak, caused her to wonder how much thought he had actually put into this.

When he told her he cared about her, Nikki could feel her words get stuck. It was not like she didn't want this, and it's not like she didn't feel the same way. It was just unexpected. It was hard to think of things being static so she had never been ready to have feelings.

"Jesus... Why you gotta say things Like that. I just said you're making me feel things." She laughed as she stood up on her screen again."If I wasn't like stuck in here I'd hug you."

He tilted his head, his smile never leaving his face, "I'll happily accept the hug once were back," his tail swayed a bit, happy to be here with her.

The young half-demon rose from where he sat, "so much on this island to see and do," he spoke softly, his eyes shinning with curiosity, "and....well I'd like to see it all with you."

Raising his tail he used it's tip to hold the tablet, giving them both a good view from the lighthouse, "were on a literal magical island.....anything is possible here."
