Jacob was sick, he had a cough, a headache and was oddly sensitive to the sun, but he didn't care. He'd be damned if he let some bug keep him from going on his first real date.

He wore a light harness, something he'd gotten to hold the tablet to his chest, to carry Nikki, his kinda sorta girlfriend. His knocked on the door, coughing into his arm a bit trying to keep it quiet.
@Nikki

Nikki had not been anywhere near as nervous for Jacob to arrive this time around. They had hung out a few times since their last adventure and had managed to become rather close. She had even gone so far as to level him up to a level two newb. That had given him the ability to kiss her on the cheek. Maybe if he was lucky he could level up again today.

When she heard the knock at the door she skipped over to it and pulled it open with a happy bounce backward. "HAI THERE!" her voice broke up and digitized with excitement as she greeted the demon. She had taken the time to clean up since last he was over too. all the stray wire's had been organized and cabled up neatly. She had dusted off her server mainframe. And even added a table and chairs. The room looked much better since.

"So... You ready? We gonna do this? Flying that is?" It was hard to keep her voice in control, given how excited she was. She was even as she stood here, bouncing on her toes. Her hands were holding down her skirt as she bobbed up and down. "Oh.. I got you a headset too. It's Bluetooth connected to my tablet so you can hear me better and I can hear you better." She gestured over to the tablet that was sitting on the table and the headset that was sitting next to it.

"K... Gimme one sec to get in there and we can go." She said spinning around excitedly on the spot before disappearing as collar and bracelet dropped to the ground. A moment later and she appeared on the screen of her tablet. "Let's do this."

He smiled brightly as she opened the door, "hey cutie," he kissed her cheek. "Yup, I'm excited," and he was, but the sickness had taken a bit of of his energy, "you're gonna love it up there."

Chuckling he stepped in as she transfered into the tablet, "everything is beautiful up there." His tail scooped up the collar and bracelet and set them on the table as he picked up the tablet and head set and gave her a wink, "let's go."

He quickly slepped out, his tail pulling the door shut, "thanks for agreeing to come Nikki, it means a lot to me." He smiled but the turned away from the tablet to cough, doing his best to muffle it, "sorry...throat is a bit itchy."

He quickly found an exit to the roof and slipped the headset on, and slid the tablet into the harness. "Okay, were all set," he pulled his hood over to shield his eyes from the sun and sprouted his blue wings. He fought off another cough, "and were off," he leaped from the roof his wings quickly carrying them up through the air, "whatcha think?"

When Jacob put her collar and bracelet up it caused her to giggle a bit. "Oh my.. Such a gentleman, taking care of my things like that. You're really trying to get into my panties aren't you." She teased as she looked up at him through the tablets Camera. She knew he had better manners than that, but it was still fun to tease him a little. At the very least it kept him interested in more than a platonic way which was nice. It was part of the reason why she had picked this form after all. She wanted to be cute and appealing.

Before long they were airborne. At firs,t Nikki had turned off her camera so that she wouldn't spoil the view. But after a few moments, she reactivated it and gasped loudly at the sight of the world below her. "Jacob... THIS IS FUCKIN AMAZING!" Her voice digitized through his headset. "I can't believe this... Is this always up here?... How does this even work... HOLY SHIT LOOK THAT BIRD IS BELOW US." She wasn't secured in a position that he could have seen her excitement, but he would be able to hear it.

Jacob liked her teasing, the back and forth banter they had, it was fun and kept things interesting. He did briefly blush at her comment, "couldn't just leave them there," he said giving her a wink. He was interested in being more than friends, he didn't really hide that.

He smiled brightly as she called out in her excitement, "quite the view eh?" he asked chuckling. Now that they were high up, he was more gliding than anything else. "I still remember when my wings first popped up," he chuckled, "fell of a bridge, they just appeared as if by instinct, slowed my fall."

They started passing over the city, above the towers, "it's been great, being able to fly whenever I want." He stopped, his flapping wings keeping them hovering, "look at all the people down there." He grinned, "when I was in London, I'd fly up and sit on top of Big Ben, look down over the city."

Nikki was having trouble staying focus on any one thing. There was just so much to see from up here. The people on the ground, the many buildings. Birds flying under them, or around them. It was surreal and fantastic. In many ways, it was hard to believe that she was even up here like this. Never in her wildest dreams had she ever believed she might fly.

"Wait... So you would sit on Big Ben and brood? What are you, Batman?" She let out a laugh as she pictured Jacob hunched over the side of the building looking for crime and acting all sullen. "I'm the hero this city deserves, But not the one it needs." She said trying her best to imitate the most recent batman voice. "Or a gargoyle? Oh man, I am picturing it, You hunched over in a thinker pose, contemplating life while the city moves on under your watchful gaze." She snickered again.

In all truth, she knew what it was like to brood. It could be a serious time for someone. It was just her imagination running wild that made it more humorous than it was. "You know.. You got something special up here... I'm glad you shared it with me." She had figured that something like this, something personal and sweet, and fun and exciting like this needed a reward. she would allow him to level up. But she wasn't going to tell him till they got back to her place. Besides, she needed her holographic body to reward him properly.

He laughed, it came out a bit horse, "well the Batman comparison isn't all that far off," he remembered when he was still a sorta vigilante, how the British news called him the new Robin Hood. "But yea....everything looks so different from up here," they continued over the city and toward the ocean.

"You're welcome," it felt good, taking someone flying, they came to the beach and he hovered again, giving her a good view of the ocean. "Anytime you get bored and want to take to the air, give me call," he said with a chuckle before being cut off by a few nasty coughs, "sorry, must be getting a small cold."

The flew along the beach towards a light house, flying up he landed on top of it. He adjusted his hood, his eyes had been strangely sensitive to sunlight.

Nikki was enthralled with the view as they flew over the beach. Even more so with the ocean and how it seemed to stretch out forever. Somehow it made her feel homesick. Not so much for Jersey, but for the potential of being in her own world with her own family, wherever that might be. The ocean itself represented infinite possibilities, and one of them could have been her old life. She let out a sigh, sitting down on the blackened background taking in the sights.

"It's really nice out here. All of this. I'm super jealous. If i could see this, id do it every chance I could. Even when I'm in holographic form my sight is limited by a camera in the collar. I can't actually see through eyes." She sighed again, looking around as far as she could see. Her camera now was HD so she could get quite a nice picture of the view.

"Hey... Weird question. It's kinda gay. but... Why me? I'm not even real. Why are you trying so hard for me?" Since coming to Manta Carlos she had resigned herself to not having any sort of normal life. She wasn't going to be a proper, girl, and would never grow up into a young woman. She wasn't going to be able to date, or kiss, and she wasn't even sure she could have sex. there was no guarantee with her. She was a long shot in the dark at best.

"Well, I'll take you flying whenever you want," he was happy to be able to share these sights with someone, especially with her. He had a crush on her, and wasn't really trying to hide it.

Jacob thought about her question, "why?.....because I really like you." He sat in the middle of the roof and carefully pulled the tablet from the harness and looked at her, "real?" he tilted his head, "and what is real? I came here....super uncertain of what I'd find," he grinned a bit, "then I saw you.....saw your energy, how bubbly you are....and I saw someone who knew how to live, enjoy life." He wished he could hug her, "Nikki....you're more real and alive than anyone I've ever met." It was corny, sappy, but he meant every word of it.

Nikki turned her avatar form away from the screen for a moment so that her back was to him. She didn't want him to see the small digital tears, that she was fighting back. "Jacob... If that was Legit... Then that was actually pretty sweet." She said sniffling while her tails flicked back and forth. She always hated when people got sappy. Even in the game. If someone was near death she never let them get soft. There was a certain dignity that came with keeping things together. Now though she was having problems keeping her own emotions in tune.

After a few moment's she wiped her eyes and turned around again so that Jacob could see her. "You know I'm bubbly cause I was programmed to be right? It's just the way I was back when I was alive. And... Like... I mean I am dead... I did feel myself die I think... I'm sort of a ghost. A digital ghost of a girl who isn't even from this world." In its own way that sounded much cooler than she had meant it to. She had been trying to debunk his opinion of her a bit, but as a result had possibly sounded much more rad than she had wanted to.

"I mean... I'm not really real... But... It's ok If you think I am." She smiled as she watched him through the cameras. "You gotta stop making me do that, though.. Making me feel stuff... It makes my data go all fuzzy."
