She remained asleep through the whole surgery, she slept for at least a half an hour after because of how much pain killer they had given her. She still had a smile on her face, she knew Albel would be there when she awoke and her smile remained. She dreamed about Albel and herself, they were together on a ship setting sail off into the ocean. The sunset behind them, the beauty reflecting on the waters. They both seemed really happy, and then the scene turned back to that of the previous night. Her sleeping in his arms, she seemed to blush lightly in her sleep. The thought of being with him more made her feel almost giddy. She slowly awoke, her eyes heavy she was a bit drowsy but she could slowly make out his figure beside her bed. A smiled caressed her lips lightly, she looked at him just staring at him with happy and loving eyes before talking.

"This was my first surgery that someone stayed with me. My first surgery was done by Rowdy Dan's girlfriend, it was quite painful seeing I was four." She said with a light smile, she gave his hand a light squeeze. "I'd usually have left the hospital by now, but I forgot to tell them to not use pain killer." She said with shifty eyes, "I don't like being kept in the hospital, I usually take the surgery and when they aren't looking I escape." She said with a mischievous chuckle. "I guess I'll have to wait till the affects of the medicine wear off before that. I hope you won't mind staying with me just a little longer." She said with a light smile.

Albel smirks at her and glances over to the door. He walks around the bed over to her and looks over at the IV tube connected to her arm. He frowns and then carefully removes the tape covering the needle in her arm. He then slowly sides it out, using his caution to avoid bruising the vein further. With a smirk he looks down at the needle in his hand and chuckles. He tosses it on the ground. He then leans over and gently picks her up off of their bed. Holding her closely in his arms. He smiles down at her, "Then we shall leave. You don't have to worry about saying in a hospital unless you want to. And judging by what you just said that doesn't seem like anything you wanna do."

He then turns to the window and kicks it open, shattering the glass onto the lower roof below them. He then jumps out of the window and a large black shadowy bird appears, catching them and flying off towards the edge of the forest. "By the way, I'll wait for you however long it takes, it doesn't matter how long."

She saw him smirk, and then walk around the other side. His gaze had met her IV tube, and soon he began to take it off with caution. She on the other hand would just do the quickest manner to get it off of her usually. She watched him, the pain of a needle was barely anything to her, but also with all that pain medicine her mind wasn't that sharp either. He picked her up, this made her smile, he was like her own personal hero. Not that she'd admit she ever needed or wanted one, seeing she was prideful. But she enjoyed being cared for by someone.

"Then we shall leave. You don't have to worry about saying in a hospital unless you want to. And judging by what you just said that doesn't seem like anything you wanna do."

She smiled weakly, curse that pain medicine, she was still drowsy. His warmeth was inviting, she cuddled against him. Her eyes were heavy, the effects of pain medicine were often more annoying than the pain. She hated having a dull mind, though with him around she didn't really need to be that sharp or at least until the medicine would wear off. He kicked the window open breaking the glass he freed them from the hospital room, leaping out of the window a large bird of shadows catching them. She felt so safe and warm against him, her eyes slowly flickered as the pain medicines effects were still kicking hard against her will.

"By the way, I'll wait for you however long it takes, it doesn't matter how long."

She smiled lightly, sleep once again overcoming her. She looked weak in his arms, though she was happy, she was a bit pale from blood loss. But that was to be expected, she didn't know where he had plans on bringing her. And she was in a haze from the medicine, she rather have been awake and in his arms than asleep. Though either way it was still romantic in her mind, this time her sleep had no dream. Though his warmeth made her know she was safe and everything would be alright.

The bird continues to fly swiftly along until finally they return to the edge of the forest they emerged from. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath as the bird descended to the ground, landing softly as if not at all. He jumps off of the bird and lands on the ground below. He opens his eyes again and walks slowly over to a nearby tree while simultaneously the shadow bird disappears in a wisp of its shadowy attribute. He sets Fia down against the tree and gently brushes the hair out of her face before rising to his feet again. He turns away and walks a few steps, pulling shadow clones of himself out of the shadows and sets them to watch. He then sits down next to Fia and closes his own eyes sleepily. As he dozed off and fell into a dream, he was able to see everything around them because of the shadow clones.

Fia slept soundly because of the medicine, her mind wasn't aware of her surroundings unlike Albel. She slept without much if any awareness, she looked quite peaceful though. She had no dreams this time, it was just darkness, she slept for at least an hour before she woke up cringing in pain for a moment. Finally the medicine had worn off, she sighed getting used to the pain again. She looked over to the sleeping Albel, he looked peaceful, though she guessed the Shadow Clones weren't for show. She observed him for a while before looking up into the sky. She by now had gotten used to the pain, it was hard to come out of a peaceful rest without pain and wake up to such a dreadful amount. But now she felt fine she now had mentally grown used to the pain, and looked as though there was no pain to her. Her eyes widened, she looked for her sword. Did I leave them at the hospital or on the dead tree? She then realized she was wearing a hospital robe. She sighed, she supposed if her stuff was at the hospital she could always steal it later that night.

She rested her head back against the ground, she was still in a lot of pain. Though she didn't show it, she didn't like letting herself realize her body was weak. Besides the fact that she didn't like hospitals much either. She suddenly realized the back of her robe wasn't that well fastened, she rolled her eyes. Men in the hospital were such perverts, making robes which had unnecessary openings. She sat up tightening the strings in the back until they showed none of her skin. She was glad they left her undergarments on or she'd swear she'd kill them. She sighed realizing she probably looked quite horrible, she ran her fingers through her hair as if they were a brush. She was still quite pale, she looked back to the sleeping or so she thought sleeping Albel. She was almost tempted to run her fingers through his red hair while he slept, she thought it was a beautiful color like that of blood. She didn't find him scary in the least, she thought he looked quite adorable when he slept. She laid back down looking at the sky she wondered what the future might hold for them.

Albel opens his eyes silently and meets her stare. He lets out a loud yawns and glances to the sides, his clones disappearing back into the shadows in whence the came. He then fixes his gays back upon fia and smiles lightly, "Hey there sleeping beauty, nice to see you've awoken from you drug induced slumber." He says before letting out another, much more obnoxious yawn. He rises slowly to his feet before turning and looking down at her, extending his hand down and feeling her forehead gently. After a moment he pulls his hand away and laughs, "Well! On the plus side you managed to avoid getting a fever, which means we get to avoid a few nights of you laying around sick. So I'd give it about two or three days until you're back to strength and we can get ourselves a ship."

"Hey there sleeping beauty, nice to see you've awoken from you drug induced slumber."

She smiled lightly, she felt his hand touch her forehead. She didn't have a fever, but that didn't mean she was all clear. It truly depended on how good the surgeons were and if it'd get infected. She had a high pain threshold though, she was able to take just about anything. The only times she couldn't was when her body gave out on her, which she had happen too often, though usually from blood loss or something.

"Well! On the plus side you managed to avoid getting a fever, which means we get to avoid a few nights of you laying around sick. So I'd give it about two or three days until you're back to strength and we can get ourselves a ship."

She flinched lightly, her wound hurt quite a bit she was used to it, but somehow it still made her flinch. She looked up at him, Thats right, the ship... Argh why did I have to be an idiot and forget my swords, it's all my fault that we have to wait. She looked down, "I'm sorry, it's my fault we have to delay getting the ship. If I hadn't been so stupid and not paying attention I could've easily blocked the blow with my sword." She hung her head, "I should have been paying attention, I'm sorry to have put you through this trouble." She said looking back up at him, her eyes apologizing as well. She didn't think it was right for him to have to see her have surgery and everything. He might have even been worried for her, and for that she was also sorry. "I'm sorry if I made you worry as well, though one thing you should know. I get wounded quite a bit, it's nothing big unless there's tons of wounds and even then I usually make it. I take too many risks in my fighting sometimes, though I usually come through fine." She said with a light smile.

Albel began to laugh and shook his head. He sits down beside her and rests her head on his thigh before beginning to run his fingers gently through her hair. "Look, don't apologize, there's absolutely no reason to. As to your high threshold of pain, that's what worries me. One day you're going to be dying and you won't even realize it until you're down for the count. Now then, in that last situation I had to take you to a doctor because your stomach was split open. As I'm sure you know, theres is acid inside of your stomach that would burn you insides to pieces within minutes. I don't care how much pain you can take, you will still feel the effects of that one." He sighs and pauses, his fingers still in her hair gently.

Albel began to laugh and shook his head. He sits down beside her and rests her head on his thing before beginning to run his fingers gently through her hair.

He rested her head against his thigh, she felt his fingers run through her hair, it felt so nice. She closed her eyes lightly, she felt so happy and cared for by him. Her heart pitter pattered lightly with each time he ran his fingers through her hair. A content smile graced her lips, this was definitely keeping her mind off of her pain in her abdominal.

"Look, don't apologize, there's absolutely no reason to. As to your high threshold of pain, that's what worries me. I don't care how much pain you can take, you will still feel the effects of that one."

She opened her eyes, then smiled lightly. "I guess you'll just have to look out for me then, and make sure I don't overdo it." In short she was saying he'd have to stick around for a long long time, not that she'd mind it. He probably wouldn't mind it much either, she closed her eyes again. "It feels so nice to be with you." She said a light smile on her lips, he made her feel so happy and alive. And yet she worried about him as well, she wanted to keep him safe and not let him feel alone. Being alone and unloved was a sort of pain which festered in one's soul until they wanted to be sucked in by the darkness of their soul. Yes, she didn't want him to get sucked into that darkness.

Albel chuckles and looks over to the side. He didn't really know what to say to her and just found himself staring off into the nearby woods. His fingers continued to run through her hair and he soon became enveloped within his own little world. Inside of his head, he felt as if he had just got shot out of a cannon, the landscape around him shifting in a blur. All that Fia would be able to to see or feel from the outside was Albel's hand freeze in her hair and his eyes go even more empty, as if he was lost in a trance. Within his mind Albel found himself being pulled swiftly across the ocean until he found an island. His mind froze on the appearance of the island for a second before jolting forward again.

He sees the trees on the island go by in the same blur before once again his site momentarily freezes on a dark cave. He is pulled within the cave and after a complex series of twists and turns he finds himself within a large cavern within the cave. The was a light shining through onto a blade stabbed into the rock. The sword's blade was unique in the fact the it was black while it's hilt was a bright silver color. Engraved onto the stone are the words:

"Only the master of the shadows can pull this sword from the rock in which it remains. All others who try will become as the shadows themselves, dark and alone..."

Suddenly Albel is sucked back into his body and his hand jumps immediately up to his head and he grabs it in pain.
