She slept beside him, her tired body felt his had stroking her hair since she was still aware of what happened. She felt safe with him, and wanted him to believe in her. Each rustle of leaves or break of a stick she heard, though her senses would fight with her she managed to sleep and still be aware. She slept peacefully against him though, even if she wasn't fully asleep she looked it. She heard him fall asleep, she felt the rise and fall of his every breath, this was so peaceful and soothing to her. She was tempted to go fully asleep, though she couldn't since she needed to protect him.

[The Next Morning]

She smiled peacefully opening her eyes, her body had gotten a good amount of rest. Though she wasn't fully rested, but then again she rarely ever fully rested. That was probably why the girl could often be seen taking naps during the day even if she wasn't fully asleep. She cuddled against him, she watched him sleeping she knew he'd probably wake soon. Her eyes watched him, they had a softness to them, like that of a gentle person watching over someone they cared about. She didn't realize this, but she knew she cared for him. She didn't want to budge from her place in his arms, she was so comfortable. She waited for his eyes to open, she studied his face, Hmm, he's really quite handsome, I don't see how someone could be afraid of him. she thought in her head. She shook this out of her mind, why was she gazing at him like that? She pushed herself back to reality, she was in his arms, she was almost embarrassed. She had really gotten close to him, she didn't know what to do. Was she loosing her mind? She liked being in his arms, she pushed it back out of her mind. Even if I do feel like this I doubt he would, so just stop acting so weird, comeon you're a swordsman not a... She started to recall more of yesterday and eased back into his arms. No, none of that mattered when she was with him. She told him she wouldn't hide her feelings around him, there was no reason for her to act like a fool and change her mind.

Albel had awakened around the same time she had, however he had kept his eyes closed in order to try and get back to sleep. He was still a little tired, but not so much that it mattered a lot. After feel her tense up and relax against him again, he opens his eyes, revealing the same empty grayness that was always there. He watched the entrance to the igloo for a few moments, blinking at the bright light that shone through it before looking down at Fia. Suddenly his eyes widened, as if surprised and he tensed up in his shock. Woah woah woah, I just fell asleep with a girl, didn't I? Especially one who probably doesn't even feel anything like that towards me!

Shakily, he looks down at her and stares straight into her bright, beautiful, icy blue eyes. He blinks a few times before relaxing a little and leaning backwards, leaving his arms wrapped gently around her slender and muscular physique. With a deep sigh pushes all of those thoughts out of his mind. They were only huddled together for mutual warmth and that was it. "Good Morning, sleep well?"

She felt him tense up beneath her, a bit of sadness edged in her eyes. Mmm, that's right he probably wouldn't feel that way towards me anyway. We're just friends, and he probably wouldn't want that type of relationship. Why am I even thinking this. Captain probably would make a joke, but I really don't see it as funny. She wondered if she had been too forward the previous day, maybe she had made a fool out of herself. She didn't know what to say or do. She was silent, she wondered if he wanted her to leave her arms. Her arms were still around him, what was she doing? Her eyes were kinda soft, caring and a edge of sadness to them.

She saw him gaze into her eyes, her eyes seemed to weaken under his gaze. Her eyes couldn't hide anything, she never could hide her emotions or feelings with her eyes. When he leaned backwards she relaxed again, his arms were still around her, perhaps he didn't mind being with her like this. Perhaps he didn't wish her to remove her arms from around him. She relaxed back against his body, hearing him speak from beneath her.

"Good Morning, sleep well?"

"Mmm, I did." She added to it in her thoughts, almost too well. "How about you? She said lightly, she felt comfortable with him again. Though a bit nervous, she couldn't understand herself, how come she was getting so attached to him and acting so differently. She trusted him so much already and they had only known each other a day. It felt so odd to her, for her life to change that quickly.

Albel frowns quietly before looking away from her and back outside of the igloo, "Enough, but not as well as I would have liked." With a deeps breath he removes his arms from around her and slowly rises to his feet. As he did so he felt as if something was being torn from him, but he pushed the feeling away, dismissing it as if it was nothing. He yawns loudly, stretching his arms out lazily before dropping them to his side. He reached back silently and began testing how easily each of his blades were drew, making sure that they would get stuck when he needed them. After making sure they all checked out he walked to the exit of the igloo and went outside into the cool morning air.

As he stood outside he looked around, blinking away the bright light shining in his eyes. He jumped back up into the same tree above them and grabbed a pair of delicious looking apples before dropping back down, landing on the ground silently. He turns around and walks back inside of the igloo silently. He takes one of the apples and tosses it towards her before biting down into his own. "If you want I can wait outside while you get ready.." he says awkwardly, knowing how women preferred privacy when getting ready in the mornings.

"Enough, but not as well as I would have liked."

She felt her heart lurch as his arms were removed from her, she slowly let go of him allowing him to rise to his feet. Her eyes seemed to grow sad, what was she doing, why was she this effected already. She looked down trying to avoid his eye sight, she didn't want him to know. But in a way she did, but she didn't want to feel like a fool. Her pride was there of course, she rested her arms on her knees when he exited the igloo, she tried to make her feelings or mood change but she couldn't make it. She got to her feet and straighten out her clothing and hair and exited the igloo the air was cold it made her shiver lightly. The coldness made her think of how warm his arms had been around her the previous night.

She felt like a fool for allowing herself to get so attached, but it didn't change how she felt. She walked back into the igloo trying to force herself to compose herself, she didn't know why she couldn't just go into denial or something. She saw him return and she caught the apple, she looked at it thinking about yesterday her eyes grew sad again. She wanted to curse herself out, why couldn't she just ignore it. He'd probably see what she felt, and how much she wanted to hide it. But she had made a promise to not hide her feelings from him.

"If you want I can wait outside while you get ready.."

She looked up and answered quietly, "No it's okay, I um... am already." It was obvious something was wrong, she knew he probably couldn't ignore it. She wanted to hide it but she couldn't, she looked down.

Albel looks at her silently, a frown on his face. Something was off but he didn't know what. With a sighs he exits the igloo and waits for her, walking away from it when she finally emerges. He walked silently through the snow silently, standing beside her. She was awfully quiet and he knew something was really bothering her. He looks up into the bright blue sky above them and a faint smile shows on his face. It was an amazing day, he could see the birds chasing each other around the sky playfully while the at the same time the squirrels chased each other around the trees. Finally her pauses and turns to her, "Let's take a break here, I'm getting a little tired."

He sits down on a rock nearby, closing his eyes in thought before looking back at her. Instantly he was absorbed in her dazzling eyes and he could tell something truly was bothering her. "What's the matter?" he asks her, a curious frown showing on his face.

She walked with him silently, she couldn't make herself speak. She was afraid to, she didn't know what to do. She could tell he knew something was bothering her, she couldn't hide it, she couldn't hide anything.

"Let's take a break here, I'm getting a little tired."

She just nodded and slowly sat on a nearby down tree, she didn't want to get too close to him. She didn't want for her emotions to pour out of her, she wanted to hide everything deep inside. But that was impossible with her eyes, she didn't notice his gaze on her. But when she heard him ask what was wrong she clammed up. She looked down, she failed, now her life was going to fall apart wasn't it? She was silent, she couldn't speak, she wanted to yell at herself. What was she doing, why did she have to be so obvious that something was bothering her. She barely knew him and yet she felt this way, why couldn't she not have these feelings developing for him. She stayed there quiet, though the air seemed to say to go to her. She couldn't say what was bothering her, she couldn't.

Albel stares at her quietly. Now his suspicions were definitely confirmed, there was something bothering her. He tilts his head to the side quietly, thinking about what he should say. She was really perturbed about whatever it was, she was visibly clamming up and looked so pale she was about to die. With a frown he looks down at the ground silently. The snow was bright as ever, reflecting the light from the sun above them. He didn't know what to say that would calm her at this point, she was too freaked out about whatever it was. Suddenly a thought crossed his mind and he found himself looking back at her, "Look, whatever it is, and I mean whatever, I promise that I will not leave your side."

"Look, whatever it is, and I mean whatever, I promise that I will not leave your side."

Suddenly she heard something coming towards Albel, on instinct she threw herself in front of him blocking the blow from the beast with her body. She was too disturbed to remember to draw her sword to block, seeing her opponent finally she realized it was a vampire. Probably one on blood lust, she went to draw her swords but she couldn't, she realized they were gone. Her swords were gone? She saw them laying on the tree she had been sitting on a moment earlier, she hadn't even remembered them coming off of her. She had to protect Albel she told herself this, she didn't know why, maybe it was because she had promised the night before. Her wound from the vampire's claw had cut into her stomach area, blood came from the wound. She didn't show her pain, she would protect Albel no matter what. She knew she didn't have a chance to get her swords, it was a lowly vampire and yet she allowed him to get a hit. She cursed at herself for letting something bother her so much that she wasn't as aware as she should have been. She didn't understand why a vampire would be out in the day, though it didn't dawn on her that it must've actually been a werewolf instead. She really was having a off day.

Albel saw her dart in the way of the attacker, then he saw the blood fly everywhere and stain the pure white snow with red. Suddenly, an angry look shows on his face and the once gray eyes darkened to the blackish gray of hurricane clouds. In truth, that might have been what was welling up inside of him: A hurricane. Suddenly with all of the ferocity of an animal he draws one of his swords and severs the arm that had cut into her. After that he dropped his sword on the ground and put his arm out to the side, summoning a shadow to her. The shadow wrapped itself around her body, stopping the bleeding and serving as a bandage. At the same time it went up into the cut open area of the stomach and sealed that up as well.

Feeling that she was well enough bandaged, Albel turns back to the beast in front of him. He could slowly feel himself falling into the anger in which he would lose himself. Suddenly, his eyes became as black as the shadows he controlled and he pulled the glove that covered the mark on his hand off. It burned uncontrollably as he lost all control and all of the shadows, with the exception of the one bandaging Fia, stabbed into the beast like a thousand blades. Blood spurted out onto Albel's body, the liquid red color running down his cheeks in his loss of control. Suddenly, as soon as it started it ended and Albel had regained control of himself. He fell forward, panting hard as his eyes returned to their normal gray color.
