Albel released her from his shadows and shifted so that she now was sitting in his lap. She leaned against his shoulder, she felt so peaceful even if they were only friends. It had felt nice to not feel alone to be able to feel someone hold onto you and want to be near you. She wondered what it would be like having a pirate crew with him at her side.

"Well, I'm ready whenever you are, how do you think we should go about acquiring a boat?"

She smirked mischievously, "Pirates like borrowing a lot, especially new pirates. I say we commandeer a ship from some navy scum and head out in style. Since saving up for a ship would take years and that sort of time is kinda annoying. Or there's always a game of poker." She said with an evil grin, "Actually that might be easier and more legal." A glint was in her eyes, she was quite a card shark. She learned from one of the best card sharks in the gaming world at the time. Of course being on the seas and needing fake names never gave him the proper acknowledgment for all the matches he won. Probably because he cheated he didn't want people to know who he really was.

"Not to mention we need to find a crew as well.."

She chuckled, "We don't need to worry about that at this time, usually beginner ships can be controlled well by one or two people and we can slowly gain more crew mates, but at this time we don't need to worry about that." She said with a light smile, besides she wasn't quite ready to suddenly have a big crew. She needed to ease into it, at the moment she was just happy to have her first mate.

Albel pauses quietly in thought. He weighed both of their options in his head quietly, trying to figure out which one sounded better to him. He did acknowledge the fact that the gambling and raising money would very likely be easier, but that would take all of the sport out of it. Personally, he preferred the idea of commandeering a navy ship and doing it the hard way. He enjoyed challenges, and fight like that would be interesting to perform. Especially since they would be fighting large numbers of opponents at once to get the ship. It would be a good training experience for the both of them. Finally, he looks over at her with a clever smirk, his face shifting from childish to well..slightly frightening.

"I think we should commandeer a ship personally. It would be great training for us both, and it would provide more entertainment. At the same time it would give us enemies right off of the bat and allow our name to be known. However, we should try and figure out a flag insignia and get a flag with it on there before we take the ship, that way we can fly under our own colors. I was thinking something like a rows with a pair of sword going through the stem diagonally, what do you think?"

She wasn't afraid of his smirk, she only shifted her weight putting an arm around his shoulder. And smirked along, "I wonder what thought is so enjoying that you make a face like that." She said poking him lightly with a smile, she was at ease around him. Even if he lost control of his powers she wouldn't feel less at ease around him. She knew deep inside of him he had a soul just like hers, and she didn't want him to be alone and hurt.

She thought for a minute, "Well we can't commandeer it for a while since we're so drained. Though I suppose it'd be faster getting a ship the manual way over the conning some poor sailor out of his ship in a game of poker. Though either way it's a sure kill, though I was looking forward to showing you my card skills. But I guess that'll have to wait." She said with a playful smile, then her hand snuck to the snow and she slowly gave him a light hug and put some snow down the back of his shirt while doing so. She doubted he'd let it work once he felt it, but she could try at least. She liked being near him, and she never wanted them to grow apart. She wanted him to be her right hand man, she wanted to never be without him especially once they started the crew. She realized she was already too attached, but she wasn't going to push herself away. She needed to protect him and not be afraid this time.

Albel's eyes dart wide with shock and he squirms around with her in his lap. Finally, he throws his hands back and manipulates the shadows his shirt creates to displace the snow elsewhere before turning and glaring at her. "You are one sneaky little turd, aren't you?" he asks with a smile, already plotting his revenge. He glances upwards at the trees above them and using a lot of his energy, transfers the snow downwards on the both of, transferring the snow coming towards him but letting the rest his her. As it was happening he began to laugh before rolling away with her in his arms so that she didn't get hit with too much snow. "I believe the day is mine!"

He then pokes her in the side again playfully and leans against the nearby tree, relaxing even with her weight in his lap. He sighs, feeling hr arms around him and looks down at the ground, his gray eyes dancing in and out of focus. He was starting to get really tired from all of the shadow manipulation and he knew that neither of them would be able to recover by the time the night fell, which was when it would get impossibly cold. Frowning, he decides to use the last of his energy to force the shadows around them to build a dome shaped igloo around them, to keep them warm, and a small exit to it in the front. With a sigh he turns to her, "Well that's the rest of my energy..and now I'm insanely tired.."

She giggled watching him squirm, she kept her arms around him holding him snug and tight. She liked this, being with him, playing with him, fighting with him. She grinned she hadn't planned on her sneak attack working. It was rather nice to get him for once, since after all he had won most of the day.

"You are one sneaky little turd, aren't you?"

She chuckled, "Mmm, though I didn't think it'd work. Looks like I got one up on you." She said with a playful smile, while she was with him she felt like her troubles would disappear forever, if only time would stay like this forever. Snow fell downwards to her back some fell down her back of her shirt as he rolled out of the way with her in his arms. She was now successfully cold and snow drenched, some snow laid softly on her white hair making her look quite silly.

"I believe the day is mine!"

She frowned lightly, "That wasn't fair, I only put a snowball down your back." She shook a little trying to get the snow to exit the back of her shirt, it was quite cold and uncomfortable. He poked her side again making her squirm lightly, a light blush forming on her cheeks. Maybe he had realized she was ticklish, he leaned against the tree and she snuggled against him trying to steal some of his heat since she was still cold from the snow. She remembered she hadn't talked to him about their flag, she thought silently about it. "I was thinking maybe... Well.." She wiggled off her jacket, and tugged her shirt sleeve up to reveal her tattoo of captain's flag. "This was captain's flag, maybe we could use something from it. Maybe the sakura." She said lightly, showing the skull with the gentleman's hat and sakura blossom in the rim with two crossbones beneath it. The skull had a smile on it's face.

She watched him create a shadow dome, she was still on top of him and her arms still around him. She felt so comfortable, it was so strange how in one day she could feel this different. And allow someone to be this close, she wondered if she had lost her senses. But for some reason he seemed to be a lot different as well, maybe it was okay that she had changed while she was around him. And they both had seemed to change too, she wondered what it was that made them both change so quickly since they both were only friends. Weren't they? Then again these were the thoughts of someone drained of energy, so they really didn't make much sense to her either.

"Well that's the rest of my energy..and now I'm insanely tired.."

She smiled lightly resting her body against his, she'd keep him warm. After all sleeping outside or in a dome would be quite cold and body heat needed to be combined in order so they didn't get sick or anything. Though that was only part of the reason she was laying against him, she couldn't quite place the other one.

He wrapped his arms around her gently, lying back and closing his eyes. He accepted the warmth she was offering as nothing more than that. He had no thoughts at all about her maybe feeling something else for him, but instead though about it as just a friend thing. However, a small part of him silently hoped she did feel something more, wanting her as if she were the most wonderful thing in the world. He ignored it though, knowing that it was trying to tell him something that wouldn't be true. With a small smile he ran his mind across the tattoo she had shown him on her back. He smiles at her thoughtfully before nodding, "I'm totally for that.." he says, laughing excitedly.

With a smile he reaches down and pulls off one of his bladed gloves revealing a symbol tattooed on the back of his hand. It had a fancy cross on it and in each of the four empty corners around it it had Japanese symbols that read "Shi-ni-ga-mi". He looks at her and show it to her, still smiling, "I have one of those too, accept it was something I was born with. It quite literally means 'God of Death'. He glances at it thoughtfully before covering it back up with his glove. He had never shown that to anyone, with the exception of his parents, and had no idea what had just come over him to display it.

His arms wrapped around her, she felt his warmth, she felt quite content. Closing her eyes lightly, the whole scene felt serene and peaceful she hadn't felt this safe and happy for such a while. She never quite felt or thought of anyone as perhaps being someone she loved in a different way than a friend or father. So she herself didn't know what type of feelings may have been developing for him. Though she knew he meant a lot to her, though these feelings felt different than just a friend. She never got this close to someone who was merely a friend. Though she wasn't thinking it over at the moment, she was just accepting things as they were even if she didn't know what they were.

"I'm totally for that.."

She smiled lightly, she was glad that he didn't mind putting something from captain's flag in their's. She wanted the captain's legacy to live on even if he was dead. He was a great man, and now she felt she was with another great man. Albel was a great man in her eyes, she continued to smile tiredly.

She looked at the symbol, it looked pretty to her. She always liked how Japanese symbols had looked, she had even picked up a bit of Japanese from traveling on the ocean. Though she didn't know much, though she had picked up some basics from the captain who'd always make a joke that the only words needed to communicate with people from other countries was money, food, and ocean. Though it had only been a joke, he obviously knew much more than those words in order to communicate.

"I have one of those too, except it was something I was born with. It quite literally means 'God of Death'.

She smiled lightly, "It looks rather pretty, though I wonder if that means you're a death god or something." She continued to snuggle up against him, she wasn't the least bit afraid of him. She didn't mind if he was a death god, she wasn't like most people who had fears. "No matter what it means or you are it doesn't change a thing, remember that." She said with a smile, closing her eyes tiredly. She let out a soft yawn, and cuddled closer to him. She was tired and comfy against him.

Albel smiled weakly in reply to her. She was right, it didn't change a thing about him essentially. However he had neglected to tell her something about the mark. Something that was rather important really. Any time he used his power it burned the back of his hand a little, depending on the degree of which he used it. Usually it was no more than a little sting, but things like the fight earlier cause a searing pain, one that he had become so accustomed to it no longer showed on his face when he was hurting. He sighs and looks back down at her. She looks so peaceful and majestic right now, sleeping like an angel. She seemed as tired as he was, though seeming unable to admit it with her stubborn pride.

He give a light chuckle and looks quietly out the front of the igloo and into the darkness outside. If anything were to come and attack in the night, he would be able to use the last bit of his energy to send her elsewhere to safety, but he didn't feel like it would be necessary. There was something about this night that seemed peaceful to him, whether it was the crickets chirping in the cool night air or the beautiful woman falling asleep in his arms. Sighing deeply, he stares outside, preparing himself to let her sleep and protect her if anything happened.

She felt so safe and happy, he was like her prince charming. Though a bit of an unorthodox one, seeing they had fought and everything. But in the end he was gentle in her eyes, and she didn't care about the small things that might arise. Or even the chance that he could harm her if he lost control of his power. What she had meant was that no matter what, she'd stay by his side. She wasn't going to desert him if he wasn't a mere human or if he might go mad and kill her. She trusted him enough to know he wasn't a bad person, he was kindhearted and just silent and a bit mischievous. She didn't know about the pain it had caused him, but she was like him after all. She figured he hid his pain as well, this wasn't anything new to her. She knew he had pride as did anyone else, that's why she wanted to be there to protect him and be by him.

She hadn't fallen asleep just yet, she whispered tiredly. "You better sleep too, if not I'll have to carry you home in the morning. Don't worry about us getting attacked..." She cuddled closer to him. "I'll protect you." She meant it with her heart, she would protect him. If anything happened she could make her body work even if it had blood loss or she was exhausted. She could ignore things like that, he didn't need to protect her. She wanted him to know that she didn't want him to put his life at risk in order to protect her. Though she was tired so that's all she could say, though if danger came she could act as if she was fully awake. Though he might have doubted her ability to do what she said, but she could protect him if there was a need to. With this she fell asleep against him peacefully, she unknown to him was still partly aware of her surroundings. She was able to do this since when she slept she often slept in strange places, and couldn't put her mind fully to rest since she knew it wasn't safe. She would struggle with keeping her mind aware while sleeping this time, seeing she had exhausted herself quite a bit.

Albel looks down at her, his eyes widening in surprise at what she says. She can't be serious, she's more tired than even I am. she couldn't possibly have the energy to fight off a newborn kitten, let alone anything that would actually attack. He stared at her quietly. She seemed so serene in her sleep, her breathing calm against his chest. With a smile he finds himself sleepily stroking her hair, soothing her tired body and spirit, He too closed his eyes and began dozing off into sleep. His heart rate began to slow until finally he fell into a sleeping state, his final thought this: Very well..I will trust her with my life, just as she has with me..
