Skae wore an expensive, old-era ballgown. She was the epitome of what one would expect of an old-era woman; if they were in the 1500s, or earlier.

She was dancing alone, though. The ballroom was empty; why else would the vampiric princess be there? Her hair was delicately put atop her head, and even as she danced alone, not a single strand moved from place. It was well-done, most likely by the girl herself.

Ruby lips tugged into a grin as she closed her eyes, scenting the air. "It is rude to hide," she whispered, knowing she needed to speak no louder. There was little need to speak any louder, because she knew the species of the other person - she knew what he was; a lot about him, actually.

He was a special man, she knew that. But not for what some may assume he is special for...

Terri had entered the ballroom to see Skae dancing, it was something that he thought was kind of fun. At least to watch, the dress she wore was beautiful if not outdated. The type of thing his parents would approve of...if only because of properness. "I wasn't hiding"

He said his voice smooth and soft, though it had a roughness to it. he walked over and held out his hand, bowing slowly. "May I have a dance?" He asked, expecting her to say yes, after all why wouldn't she says yes.

"Uhuh. I'll believe that one day," She snorted, shaking her head gently. When he asked for a dance, she curtsied, before taking his hand. "Of course, I would appreciate having a dance partner for once." She allowed a sweet, charming smile.

"You can believe what you want, If I was hiding you wouldn't be able to find me" Terri said rolling his eyes as he started their waltz. He needed at least one guard to see him doing something proper, something that his parents didn't have to complain about. it wasn't actually that bad, dancing with Skae, he just didn't like all the old fashioned. He was very much invested in the way the world was time wise.

"You know, your parents would be incredibly upset if they knew you were dancing with me - the Rogue Princess," she mused, angling her head back slightly to gaze at the male. "What would mama and poppa say, hmm, Terri?"

She snorted, throwing herself into a twirl beneath his arm. "Ah, but I do look good on your arm, do I not?"

Terri rolled his eyes again as he spun her around, while not a part of the dance he couldn't help but want to get off the subject of his parents. She was so much younger than him, around 1500 years and she still found ways to make him want to bite her...hard. "Well, firstly they might make a few jokes about you being too young for me."

He said pulling her close "Than they would tell me you you were too wild and untamed, but who cares and yes you lovely on my arm." Part of him wanted to tell her that was where she belonged, but they both knew he was probably thinking it.

"Mm.. I like older men," she purred, fingers running against his wrist as she continued with the dance. It was easy, from memory. She ran her fingers against his shoulder as she was pulled closer.

"Mm.. How about we speed the tempo up, m'lord?" She teased, her voice quiet, soft. "I don't like slow dances if I can help it."

"Men?" Terri asked, a slight hint of jealous in his voice. "What other men? Do I have to kill some one? you remember what happened last century right?" He asked, he was hoping to not have a repeat of the jealous frenzy he went in.

"Sure" Terri said smiling and speeding up the dance tempo.

Skae scowled at him, "If you weren't so damned jealous nothing would've happened and I would've walked away with an island to my name, Terri!" She slapped at his chest as the tempo sped at her request.

"Ugh. I hate that you're so jealous. It's so hard to use men to get what I want."

"You don't need and Island, If you want an Island Ill buy you one woman." Terri said, his words coming out more like a growl. Why did she need a freaking Island, didn't she know she was his.

"Well, than just learn to ask for what you want"
