Dancing Through Life

Andrew waited on the lawn for Addie. He simply had on jeans and a pullover, after all, it was 'casual'.

He really couldn't believe Addie had agreed. But then, he couldn't really grasp the fact that she had amnesia either. Valentine's Day definitely wasn't the best time for that.

He crossed his arms and sighed, wishing she would hurry up.

Adelina skipped out onto the lawn. She was wearing jeans as well, with a black sweatshirt over her long-sleeved shirt. She looked around and spotted Andrew, smiled, and quickly ran to him. "Hi!" she exclaimed, giving him a hug. Apparently she was in a slightly hyper mood. Her mood swings were going away, though; she would be back to her normal personality soon.

Andrew returned the hug. "Hey. How are you feeling?" He asked. He took her hand, mostly out of habit, not really thinking whether or not she would mind.

"I'm feeling fine, and you?" Adelina asked. She blinked when he took her hand, confused as to why he was doing so, but didn't protest to it. It seemed like he should be holding her hand, for some reason. "Come on, let's go," she said to him, beginning to walk toward the stable.

Andrew nodded. "Fine." He was glad that she didn't go nuts or anything when he took her hand. He followed her to the stables.

Once the two were at the stables, Adelina entered the barn. She looked around, then looked back to her husband. She thought she had a few memories of him stored away, and for a moment she thought he was more than a friend to her, but the idea/memory didn't last too long. "So, um... let's dance?" she asked, tilting her head to the side.

"Yep, of course." Andrew replied, taking her other hand as well. "Have you remembered anything else? At all?" He asked.

When asked if she remembered anything else, Adelina nodded slowly. "Kind of..." she said. She didn't know how to ask or explain it, but decided to do the best that she could. "Well... um... Andrew... were, or are, we more than friends?" she asked him, blinking and tilting her head to the side slightly.

Andrew froze. He truthfully, honestly didn't want to lie to Addie. Ever. And if he did tell her, it might help her remember more. "Yeah. Addie...we're married." That was sort of a weird thing to say.

The young woman's eyes widened. However, after a moment, she calmed down. "I... remember..." she said, and threw her arms around him. She remembered that she loved him, that they had gotten married, but not why they had gotten married, or who Aly and Alex were. She smiled and kissed his cheek. "But that's it... I know that I love you, that we got married, but... that's about it..." She sighed, feeling helpless and hopeless at the moment.
