<div align=center>When was the last time he’d been on a real date?
From earlier that evening, the mystery had been solved between both the teens as to how exactly they felt about each other. And with the mutual agreement of ‘more-than-just-friends’ came a sense of both relief and comfort to the nephilim involved. He could be now be even more of himself around the naga, and at least try to show him how he’s appreciated without being terribly cautious. But as far as affection went, the two had only just begun. Now on date of sorts, Jericho did feel a bit pressured to make sure he didn’t screw up. This was the window of opportunity to test how this sort of thing would work out. Thus far, it seemed to be going alright.
As a sort of nod to what he had picked up in conversations with Ettein, he had taken him out for dinner to a Taiwanese restaurant he had found out about earlier that week. It wasn’t anything fancy, but it was nice enough with service and food to be considered rather decent. Besides, neither one of the two were really properly dressed for anything swish. Not that Jericho could afford anything five star, anyway.
Dinner itself was nearing conclusion, as Jericho lazily poked at a small cake he had ordered for dessert, though his attention was set not on this but the young man that had accompanied him here. He wasn’t in a rush to finish and preferred to allow his ‘date’ to go about at his own pace. The check had already been covered, though he was willing to get Ettein whatever else he wanted. By the time the night was over he could possibly end up flat broke. He’d do a lot to impress and show that he cared, honestly.
Taking a glance outside, the stars had already peppered the deep sky and the night air hung with the aura of summer. It was refreshingly nice out, contrary to their meet up not too long ago when the environment beyond the confines of indoors was absolutely dreadful. This time, they would have a lot more freedom to do as they pleased. The night was still fairly young and they were on a popular side of town. No doubt the possibilities were endless, for both leisure and just what they could do with each other.
â€ÂWell, I gotta say, Taiwanese food certainly is interesting.†And that was certainly in a good way. He was an adventurous sort when it came to trying new foods, and he was particularly fond of Asian dishes, Taiwanese being no exception. But next time, perhaps he wouldn’t go for possibly one of the hottest things on the menu. Having your mouth feeling as if it were literally on fire but trying to play it cool as to not look like an idiot wasn’t something he wanted to repeat in the future. Still, it was pretty tasty. He smiled at Ettein, his exposed wings slightly rustling as he sat up a bit. â€ÂDid you enjoy your meal?†He asked to him, knowing that he’d probably been here before but still hoping he had done right with going here.</div>
