Jira looked at the elder as she got up hearing what she said about living to annoy ok wasn't that normal in most people or maybe it was sacrastic. He didn't know or care for that matter. He watched as she closed the door threw his red eyes slightly glowing from random tints and shines like that of a coin when light is shown across its surface...

He said nothing still when she commented about all of them being here...he had only come by chance, he didn't sleep the other night but what else was there to do but wander around aimlessly until he was called upon or stopped. But he was kind of intrested about how so many vampires happened to be in one place at one time...

He was also curious if she knew about his special case and how he wasn't an average vampire since he could still use his powers prehaps it was because they were inhabited from that of a blood melder...and it might effect the transformation but he was only curious thus far...he eyed her in wondernment and if the elder would respond to his confusion...9

Ronlyn quickly looked away when the elder vampire looked at him, he looked at Roliner who was just sitting there, running his hand over the smooth surface of the table. He rolled his eyes, and looked at the other two vampires, and to the one who spoke to the elder, then he looked at the other one who was in the cafeteria also.

"I wonder..." He said to himself quietly, then he looked at Roliner. "Why are only vampires here?" He said in a whisper to Roliner.

Roliner looked up at his brother, who had asked him a question. "I don't know. Ask the one who got up." He returned Ronlyn a whispered answer, and he looked up at the elder vampire who spoke to all of them, obviously. And yes, he was wondering why all these vampires were here, the only reason why he was , is to get away from his brother who has been following him, trying to get him to see their father, but he refuse's to even set eyes on their father.

"I will not speak to that vampire, if I want to know I could ask our father." Ronlyn said in a whisper. But he wanted to ask also why were a bunch a vampires here, but he didn't, he always depands on Tarver to know anything.

The female smirked slightly when the younger vampire looked away, well she assumed he did, as she couldn't feel his gaze anymore. Spineless he was, and yet, if he had stood up againts her, she wouldn't have been pleased. The elder probably would have punished him for disobeying a direct order from a older vampire.

"Well, aren't you smart, I mean, it's totally normal for a bunch of vampires to go to the SAME EXACT place when it isn't planned. Oh, yes, completely normal. Now what's the meaning of keeping the doors closed? There's no reason for it.''

''Don't get your knickers in a twist, welp.'' She replied, a slight sneer in her voice. ''Its not like I could stop you from escaping, if you want to jump through the window be my guest, I simply wanted to insure I had all your attention.''

The stick stopped moving with a snap, one hand holding it up resting on the other, while the other arm was crossed over her chest.

''I was about to explain exactly why you were there before you so rudely interrupted. And by the way, check this out.'' She said throwing the folded newspaper she had kept in her pocket, aiming for Cordelia's head. ''You will find the headline to be most interresting.''

It said, Robert Robertson had been found dead. The obese mafioso had been accused of many crimes and murders but had escaped prison, he was found in the middle of a boulevard, killed in plain sight of many witnesses. The killer was arrested shortly after.

Of course, she hadn't been arrested, but since one of the mafiosi women looked like her, she had delivered that one as the murderer. Wouldn't see the difference as the woman was allready a murderer anyway.

''As I was saying, You must all be wondering why there is an unexpected gathering of vampires here.'' She started to explain, but hearing the comment of one of the twins, she decided to enlighten him a bit. ''I don't know your father and I frankly don't give a peanut about him. He isn't involved as far as I know since there is only me.''

(Addie, if you aren't okay with what will follow, then tell me, and no, it doesn't involve violence, The-Thing is presently locked away ^_^ .)

''There are people here whom I do not recognise, but I guess that some of you must have bonds with those who I have not called.'' She said as if it explained everything. ''Because you indeed were called, this meeting is by no means accidental.''

Indeed, she had used a sort of call, a trade secret of most older vampires. It acted no differently than an elephant near non-hearable call. She had used it to call upon the vampires present. Most would subconsciously answer it, it was sort of an order, and the more power and influence the calling vampire pocessed, the larger the area covered and the more probabilities of succeeding. Since she was an elder, those calls could have a very efficient effect.

(I had to come up with a why and how they came to all be there, so I just invented that. All vampires can, but the more powerful they are (goes with age in my opinion), so will their call be. With the vampire's more acute earing it was easy to come up with. )

''I have a proposition for you.'' The vampire elder said. ''I am looking to make a coven, would you be part of it?''

Cordelia kept her attention on the elder, even though she could feel the eyes of someone else upon her. She didn't care much though, and she cared less for the siblings conversation. She didn't turn to Jira, either, and merely looked at the elder, waiting for an answer to what she had said. Lips twitched a bit in anger as Rayana told her not to her her knickers in a twist. She growled inwardly, but kept silent, and folded her arms over her chest.

As the newspaper as thrown at her head, the woman quickly reached out and caught it, an eyebrow raised somewhat. She looked at the headline, and her eyes widened. She knew the vampire hadn't been arrested for her crime, which meant someone else must have been taken in her place. "YOU!" she yelled, almost forgetting to keep her voice disguised, but remembering before she raised her volume. "How could you allow someone innocent to be blamed FOR YOUR CRIME?! Careless act on your part, you shouldn't have drank in the middle of the road! Now someone else will have to take punishment that should have been yours!" Her voice squeaked a bit from being so furious, but she didn't mind. She didn't care that she was screaming at an elder, either. Rayana should have known better for being so old!

She sat down reluctantly as she spoke to the brothers, and smirked when she said she didn't give a peanut about their father. As horrible as she believed the other woman to be, she did have to admit what she had just said was somewhat funny. But only a little bit.

''Because you indeed were called, this meeting is by no means accidental.''

Called? Why? Well, she supposed she'd have the answer to that in just a minute. Cordelia waited, being as patient as she could, still angry. She sighed inwardly, trying to calm herself. Being angry wouldn't help her any, now would it? When the elder mentioned making a coven, the fledgling herself became a bit confused. She knew what a coven was, but she didn't understand why random vampires would be called for it. Why not friends? Because, Cordelia considered herself in no way to be a friend of this woman. She would have automatically said no, but... maybe living in a coven wouldn't be so bad. However, her answer might depend upon what Jira did. She wasn't going to abandon her vampire child like her maker had abandoned her, after all.

"Go into more detail about this little 'coven'." Her voice was calmer than it had been before, though it was somewhat forced to be that way. It honestly did matter to her about the details of the coven, but just a little bit.

Jira didn't see the paper but heard both of there comments he didn't care really though so what if she let one person who was innocent die, not like theres thousands more outthere unaware it was very similar to what she was thinking of it or maybe it wasn't he didn't care though.

When he heard about a coven he didn't want that he was a bit threw taking orders...he thought she had no idea about his case with his powers and if she might or might not need them but a coven is when you have to look up and obey a lead vampire because of age which he didn't care for. He got up and walked toward the door she blocked not going to un dignify himself by going out a window. "Move." He said plainly waiting for her response. His eyes looking up at her there red pupils easily visable lighting up nothing but his eyes.9

Roliner watched and listened to the conversation, and in deep thought about what was going on. Then he slightly nodded towards Cordelia. "I'm with him, I want more detail about this coven." Roliner spoke up to the older vampire, his red eyes then straying to the boy who got, who, he guess wanted nothing to do with the coven.

Angry as he was now he gripped the dagger that had poison in it, poison that could only kill one vampire. Ronlyn terribly wanted to drive the dagger into Rayana's heart, but he remembered what his father had told him about using the dagger only on Roliner. And if he used it on the wrong vampire, that would mean he would lose everything he had left. He sat quiet, and never lifted his eyes. His hand stroked the dagger's handled as if to relieve his anger.

Roliner watched to see what would happen with the boy who was staring at the elder vampire, and he was quiet. He looked over at his brother who was angry, but then just looked back at the elder, waiting for her to talk.

"How could you allow someone innocent to be blamed FOR YOUR CRIME?! Careless act on your part, you shouldn't have drank in the middle of the road! Now someone else will have to take punishment that should have been yours!" Roared the vampire boy, still standing.

''I wouldn't call that hag a innocent bystander... A infantile rapist, a murderer, a woman not worth draining of her blood. I well hope she rots in jail for the remaining of her days, then let the jail on top of her, than move her and let another jail rot with her in it.'' She growled in a dangerous tone not surprised in the least as the younger vampire caught the paper as it flew to his head. ''Do not presume things about something you do not know.''

This one was showing more spine than the others, at least trying to talk his way into things. It was and wasn't the thing she wanted in a vampire at the same time.

"Go into more detail about this little 'coven'." The vampire said, calming down slightly, or seeming to force himself into not attacking the elder.

"I'm with him, I want more detail about this coven." One of the twins, Roliner, said, adding his two cents.

''Do you at least know what a proper coven is?'' The elder asked a small sneer in her voice.

The vampire really hoped those young ones weren't as hopeless as the last ones she'd met. Babies they all were, not even able to raise their voice to tell their opinion, brainless little slaves. It was her fault sort of, she had asked the master of the vampiric population of New York to see some of their younglings. They were raised to obey commands and not to have any will of their own. She had refused to take any of them with her, being disgusted to no end.

''The proper definition of coven is a family of vampires, sort of. Usually a sire, his fledglings, their mates, the fledgeling's fledgelings and so on and so forth. Since I do not have any fledgelings of my own... It would be a bit difficult to do. Now the less conventional way, meaning the way I see it.'' The vampire started. ''I could have become the master of the vampiric northern realm, but I didn't want to build over the rotten remains of an old city.''

That wasn't exactly true, as she could return any time and claim the throne of Gimrodal for herself, overidding any governement that was there, but she decided against it. Too much political backstabbing. plus, it wasn't exactly rotten or that much corrupted for now.

''A coven is a way to not get yourself killed by the local vampire master, as in most masters' minds, you have not right to exist except if you were created by one of its goons and etc. The number of vampires around have increased drastically in the past few years, insuring that the local masters will want to wipe some of you out. I wasn't about to let those idiots kill out such potential.''

Of course, it wasn't the only reason, she wanted some power, she wanted to create a coven to override the power of the closest ones, she wanted to rub it in the face of the other masters that she chosed unattached vampires instead of their fledgelings. Such sweet revenge it would be.

''I refused to take the most influencial master's fledgelings for this coven, brainless brats they all were. I want to rub it in that they are good for nothing. That, I, their elder by nearly a thousand years refused them. It will be a great dishonnor for years to come.'' The elder continued. ''A coven gives more leeway to young vampires, Mainly, you are free to do as you please and you won't get killed by other vampires unless I give my permission, as they will refer to me for any trouble they have with you.''

(Again addie, if you are not okay with any of the above, tell me, I will change it.)

A form approached, the second one to have decided to stand up. The strange smelling vampire approached her, trying to look menacing. It took more than that to frighten her. it was obvious to her that he wanted to get out.

"Move." Was the calm words the younglings said, obviously wanting it as an order.

The elder simply quirked an eyebrow, before a dark smile entered her face, it wasn't predicting anything good.

''Back off and sit down before I decide you are not worth my time after all, blood user.'' She replied poking him in the face with her stick. ''If it indeed is the case, I will gladly tear your throat out and feed it to your rear end with my boots until you rot.''

(Oh boy what a mouthful... I am sorry it is soo terribly long... )

Cordelia looked at Jira out of the corner of her eye. She knew from the moment he stood that he wanted no part in this, and she couldn't doubt he didn't. She had expected his voice to be more demanding instead of being so calm, though. She wondered what the elder vampire would do, the mother inside of her getting worried. If that elder threatened him in any way...

She immediately felt a bit embarrassed when she was corrected by Rayana. Her face didn't become red, though, and she merely turned her eyes away from all of them. Well, she'd said nothing of the woman's crimes, so how could they be expected to know if she was innocent or not? When she was told not to presume things she didn't know, her lip twitched once again in anger. After all, she had said the same thing to many people herself. She wanted to speak up again, but she didn't think it would be a great idea to do that at the moment.

As the familiar person from the other night, Roliner agreed with her, Cordelia's eyes went back to Rayana. Whether the movement could be seen or not was unknown to her, but she hardly cared. An eyebrow raised somewhat when she mentioned that the rotten remains of a city, and wondered why the old vampire wasn't there to this day. Strange, really. As she explained covens, she paid attention, even though she knew what they were.

The fledgling didn't notice Ronlyn with his dagger, nor did she know his thoughts. But, if she had, she wouldn't have minded much if he actually killed that lady. Would have been hilarious in her opinion.

''A coven gives more leeway to young vampires, Mainly, you are free to do as you please and you won't get killed by other vampires unless I give my permission, as they will refer to me for any trouble they have with you.''

My gosh, they should go right to the vampire they're having trouble with.... the disguised woman thought to herself. She nodded though, since it seemed kind of like a good deal. Protection, and still having free will. Even though, in the twenty-year-olds case, she could protect herself just fine.

A loud snarl came from her when Rayana spoke to Jira, and once again, she was standing. How dare she talk to him that way! She would allow no one to hurt him. No one. It didn't matter who they were, what their reason was, nothing; if anyone wanted to harm her fledgling, they'd have to harm her first. "You'd best take that back...." she growled, voice filled with anger once again. "If you get any ideas on hurting that kid, it'll most likely be the last thing you ever do. No one's going to harm him for ANY reason, I won't allow it. Am I making myself CLEAR?!"

She was obviously the boy's maker and obviously cared for him the way a parent would care for their own kid quite a bit. It could all be heard in her voice.

Jira ignored both as he watched as the stick came for his face making a quick movement with his hand pushing it away before it touched it with the back of his hand he just eyed her. "I said mo..." He said his voice sounding colder and non human...until he heard the word

"blood user"

He became silent for a secound...she definetly was strong but he wasn't to be patronized by an elder not caring for her experience among younger vampires...he had studied them for a long time not having to have a coven explained to him.

((However me RTFM does >.>))

"I dont want to hear more, I know what a coven is I want to talk to you in private and I can stick up for myself I have before and since she knows about me im sure she knows what I can do." He said to Cordelia without looking at her. his red eyes peered at her as the designs began to move and shimmy around his robe waiting for a response.

Roliner listened intently to what the elder vampire was saying and he was sort of liking it, but then if he was to say yes, Ronlyn could also, and then it could lead to disaster, he would think. As everyone was starting to get angry as he saw it, when the boy stood up, a little later the other vampire boy stood up as well. When he glanced over at Ronlyn he saw annoyance in the bright blue eyes.

He stayed quiet not wanting to get into anything that was happening right now, so he stayed quiet.

Annoyance was clear to his eyes and his right wing twitched a little, but he still stroked the dagger's handle. Let them fight about this little 'coven' thing, hopefully it will lead to bloodshed, He thought, a small evil smile played across his pale face.

"Well, I sure hope there having fun." Ronlyn whispered to his twin, and he got only a glare for an answer. "Come on, Roliner. Our father can offer the same thing as this vampire!" He whispered again to his brother.

"If I wanted to go with father I would have said so." Was Roliner's quiet reply.
