Again, Eben couldn't sleep, memory's flooded his mind. His hair was tangled like it hadn't been combed for a long time. He wore his white clothing like usual, though he didn't have his cape. His eyes were dull, and stared straight forward, oblivious to everything around him. Soon he stopped. He was tired but no matter how hard he tried, he could not sleep.

He slumped to the ground, though he did not fall on his back, he merely fell fell to his knees, so he sat there. Shivering slightly and a cold wind blew through the forest. He felt no one near, which made him slightly smile, as his mind settled, in till his past washed over him, and once more he was going home from school, only to find his family gone.

When the memory was done, he was still in the same position, though not moving at all. He was sick of seeing that memory, sick and tired of it, but it still came at him, for no reason, though it was like something new happened every time he saw it. Maybe it was trying to tell him something. He shook his head slightly, that couldn't be it.

She'd been crouched in a tree when he arrived, and slumped to the ground. Her first thought had been to go down to him, worried that he might be hurt, but she'd decided that he looked like he needed some time on his own. She watched him, watching the subtle changes on his face as, unbeknownst to her, his memories flashed through his head. She remained silent and still for the entire time, not so much as wiggling a toe, though her wings were continuously opening and closing in the ways of a butterfly. Neveah was good at being quiet. As usual, her entire body, aside from her upper back, was covered by warm suede, her top being light brown, and her pants being almost black brown.

Then he shook his head. Deciding that he really looked like he needed somebody to talk to, she pushed herself off the tree in a little jump movement, floating down to the ground with gentle currents from her wings. Once she'd touched down almost silently on the ground, she spoke, her voice quiet, almost not wanting to break the beautiful silence. "Are you alright?" she asked gently, her voice, as usual, sounding like that of a butterflies, if a butterfly were to ever speak. She crouched a little bit, but didn't go all the way down, since her wings hindered her downward movement. Her bright purple eyes watched him for signs of life as she remained completely still, waiting for his answer.

He lifted his head to look up at the girl who was hovering above that ground, his eyes still very dull, though he sighed when she asked if he was alright, everyone asked that question, and he always said he was fine. He looked away at the ground. The girl was strange, very strange, he felt no memory's coming from her, so it made him curious. He looked back up at the girl, trying to look into her past, but he found nothing, it sort of frightened by it, he has never met anyone who had no memory.

"I'm sure I'll be fine..." He said slightly lying, he was like never alright, after all the memory's that seemed to haunt him.

Something told her that he was lying to her, but she didn't say as much. Nor did she leave. She simply stood there silently, wings fluttering slowly, as they always did. She pondered asking his name, but really didn't think there was a point to the question, since she'd forget it as soon as he told her. Then she pondered telling him that she didn't believe him, but that didn't make any sense either, because she couldn't recall what it was that she didn't believe.

After a long series on nonsensical thought, which probably took 5 minutes, she cocked her head, glancing around her surroundings. "Where'd I come from?" she questioned, not really asking anything, her voice full of confusion. Normally, she'd remember that, but after allowing her mind to wander aimlessly, she'd become lost in thought, and couldn't recall much of anything. Not that she ever really could.

Eben looked at the girl, and looked slightly confused. She can't remember? And again, he tried digging into her mind again, but once more he found nothing, and he grew again more confused.

"You can't remember? You can't remember anything about your life?" He asked, watching the girl. And he looked at her wings, they were strange but, he didn't really mind, the only thing he did mind was that she didn't have any memory's, it nearly made him... sort of, frightened of not being able to see memory's of this person.

She could feel the foriegn mind in hers as he looked for her memories, but she wasn't bothered by it. The thing about having no memory, is that there's never anything embarassing to be read. She cocked her head to the side at his confusion, it seemed to her, that he was distraught by her lack of memory, but she wasn't sure why.

Then she shrugged at his question. "Sure, I remember a few things. Like that I can fly, or that I can talk to butterflies....And I'm pretty sure that I have a book recording all of my memories..But other than that, nope. I can't remember a thing." she smiled calmly, not at all disturbed by the fact that she couldn't remember. She remembered her name, and she remembered faces, and that was all she needed.
