Again, Eben couldn't sleep, memory's flooded his mind. His hair was tangled like it hadn't been combed for a long time. He wore his white clothing like usual, though he didn't have his cape. His eyes were dull, and stared straight forward, oblivious to everything around him. Soon he stopped. He was tired but no matter how hard he tried, he could not sleep.
He slumped to the ground, though he did not fall on his back, he merely fell fell to his knees, so he sat there. Shivering slightly and a cold wind blew through the forest. He felt no one near, which made him slightly smile, as his mind settled, in till his past washed over him, and once more he was going home from school, only to find his family gone.
When the memory was done, he was still in the same position, though not moving at all. He was sick of seeing that memory, sick and tired of it, but it still came at him, for no reason, though it was like something new happened every time he saw it. Maybe it was trying to tell him something. He shook his head slightly, that couldn't be it.
